God doesn’t just give handouts— He gives you an opportunity to grow!

Happy New Month 💫

The second half of 2025 is here already and for some, it’s exciting. For others, it might feel like a quiet reminder of all that hasn’t happened yet.

Maybe you’ve been showing up, putting in the work, praying, hoping… but some goals still seem just out of reach. You’re tempted to throw your hands up and walk away.

Please don’t.
Keep holding on. Keep showing up. God’s time is still the best.

You’re doing sooo well and even if you can’t see it yet, everything will come together beautifully, in His time.

“He makes all things beautiful in His time.”
So rest. Pray. Breathe.
And let this be your gentle reminder today: it’s okay to wait when you’re waiting in God ❤️ by @funmi_bayode

This post is a little reminder for those asking questions and trying to make sense of things.

I think it’s okay to ask questions. What’s not okay is getting so caught up in them that you never move past the questions.

Not every question comes with an immediate answer. Sometimes, you find the answer in the middle of sharing your story with someone else. And then it hits you… by @funmi_bayode

Allow me interrupt your daily scrolling! 🤭

The 1M pictures in my gallery deserve better than being permanent residents of my camera roll. Y’all deserve to see them! 😂

@wearethenewmusic asked us to pull up in alte uniforms, and @stylerebel_byseyifisher, my stylist (who I disturb a lotttt), had me dropping jaws. I mean, what was I supposed to do? Show up and not show out?

Anyways, please manage this small contribution to your timeline while I work on releasing the others. ❤️

P.S. You would agree with me that @sylviaideh takes FIRE pictures. 🔥📸
P.P.S. Which slide is your favourite? Mine? All of them!
P.P.P.S. I should tag my outfit sources and all, but right now, all I can confidently tell you is that my pants are Talor Loran. 😭😂 by @funmi_bayode

I promised to talk about rooms, yh? 🥹 This is another one I’m sure a lot of us can relate to.

It’s a long read, please bear with me. I promise it’s worth it!

I’m trying out carousels this time. I think this might be how we do our writing going forward. What say you? 👀

My face shouldn’t be distracting you from the message every time. 😂😂 by @funmi_bayode

It’s been a while since I last wrote. Not because the words weren’t there, but because it felt hypocritical to write about a room I hadn’t yet walked out of.
And whilst I try to find the words for everything, here’s one I found for.

For a long time, I allowed a lie to be sold to me. And now,I have finally recognised it for what it is, a lie, and I’m fit to talk about it without having emotions tugging at my dress, saying, “I’m still here. I’m still here.”

I used to feel alone— a lot! For somebody who has to show up for people, put on a smile, be strong for most people, give the warm hugs and ask, “How are you, really?”, life can get overwhelming.
It felt like I was bearing everybody else’s burdens, and then I often asked, “Who is there to be there for me?”. But genuinely, over time, I’ve come to see that every time I walked into that room and began to settle in, there’s a knock on the door. Or rather, knocks.

And I’m not just talking about feeling like I’ve received a supernatural hug. That is there, undeniable. I feel Jesus, telling me, “I’m with you.”
He sends me people, my friends! The very people I think I always have to show up for and be strong around. The same people I think I shouldn’t tell what’s going on with me because they’re already going through things of their own.

And it just makes sense. It makes sense when Scripture tells us it is not good for man to be alone, it’s not just the couple and relationship part. It’s companionship, too. For friendship.

So, in recent times, every time I hear that whisper telling me I’m alone, nobody cares, nobody’s listening… and the likes, I remind myself of the truth— I AM NOT ALONE.
Those thoughts haven’t stopped; they just no longer hold the same power over me.

So this is me, (former) chief of feeling alone in a crowded room, telling you that: People genuinely care. People will show up. They’ll carry your matter on their head. God will send them!!! Both when it matters as a loud thought or quiet whisper.
So, if, like me, you’re struggling to find your way out of this room, I’m here to tell you that I’ve walked out.
And you can, too.

Hello July ❤️‍🔥

We’re now in the best half of the year!🥳🥳

✨The more you look, the more you see!!!✨

The more I look back on this year, the more I see God’s goodness—in answered prayers, unexpected doors, quiet mercies, and details I almost missed.

I truly don’t think I could have imagined how this year would unfold (and is still unfolding).

So today, I’m looking again and finding even more reasons to be grateful.

The more I look, the more I see. 😅 Maybe that’s why these photos get closer the more you swipe. 😂😂

One thing I’ve learned this year is this: God is bankable. His Word is sure. 🤍 by @funmi_bayode

Happy New Year 🌸❤️
