I’ve been selected as a BAFTA Breakthrough 2023. All Glory to God!

I also found out that in the 10 years of this scheme, I’m the first person ever to be selected from daytime television.

This is for all my daytime television people who often get overlooked in this industry. We are some of the hardest workers in this industry. Long hours. Overnight shifts. Travelling up and down the country. With less than 24 hour turnaround times. All while the country sleeps. We do this every single day just to brighten up the nation’s mornings.

I want to thank BAFTA for this honour - thank you for seeing us!

Congrats to my fellow Breakthroughs!

+1 🎈🎂✨

Life is funny. This has easily been the worst and simultaneously the best year of my life.

What I’ve learned is God is still good, the sun still shines and Jesus saves.

(If you can read my top backwards this is my new birth year since the runners at work said I look 25. I think that’s a stretch so I added some change to it 😂)

Shoutout to my birthday twins @lil_bit_of_chiz @moremi.o @jeremiah.olaleye @simoncowell @aleshaofficial and world dictator Putin loool.

My Mum is a warrior! 🎓👩🏽‍🎓🔥🥂

She is a lioness. She has overcome being a war child, an immigrant, racism, misogyny, being a single mum, moving to the UK with a baby on her own. She’s risen above it ALL. Now she is not only a pharmacist with decades of experience but her specialty is Oncology and she has TWO degrees! So proud of her 😭❤️🙏🏾

And… that’s a wrap! 🎬📺

My last day at @GMB and @ITV Daytime!

8.5 years. 1000s of shows. Probably millions of hours. Now I’m on to pastures new. I’ll miss the team so much!

1. Our great presenters @richardmadeleyofficial & susannareid100
2. Full circle moment ending my time at ITV with @alexberesfordtv because we first worked together at @itvwestcountry way back in 2013!
3. Fleet Street in the building! @therealkevinmaguire & @piercetoryboy
4. Our former Editor @neilthompson62 - he was one of the people who gave me my big break into ITV way back in 2012!
5. From one former ITV News Trainee to another. We’ve not done badly! @charlottehawkins1
6. Our Mr Showbiz, THE @tvsrichardarnold
7. My gorgeous Irish pal @brendasbits
8. My team! GMB Features! I love you all ❤️
9. ITV Daytime, it’s been real! @GMB @Lorraine @ThisMorning @LooseWomen

Trad Chief Bridesmaid 💁🏾‍♀️

At my very small and intimate birthday dinner in 2022 in Mayfair’s Bagatelle, two of my close friends from different sides of my life locked eyes and the rest is history. I praise God for using me as a vessel for this wonderful and beautiful union. I could not be happier for both my friends who I have both known for more than half my life - one from boarding school and one from church! @romadomes & @eman_twin

May God continue to bless you and shine His face upon you and lead you both on this new journey, in Jesus Christ’s name, Amen. Love you both so much!! ❤️ #Romanny25 #Romanny2025
