My wife and I were blessed to welcome another addition to the family this summer. Our youngest queen Aria Milan Furby was born on July 9, 2024. Both Aria and mommy are doing wonderful and big sis is adjusting well. Thank you to our village for your love, prayers, and support.

I’m so in love with my baby girl. It’s crazy how fast time flies when you’re getting no sleep, panicking, crying tears of joy, earning a dad bod, worrying, planning, learning, sobbing, and everything else; but I wouldn’t change this role for anything. I’ve got front row seats to the greatest one-woman show. The many hats you wear as a mother never cease to amaze me. You go from healer to hairdresser, chief to chef, disciple to disciplinarian, nurse to nail tech, actress to advisor, prayer leader to protector, stylist to student—and so much more.

Glory to the most high. I met a person almost a decade ago who changed my life. She fed my spirit and quenched my longing to love true. I found a best friend, a partner, a life companion who is honest, funny, intelligent, loyal, supportive, giving, patient, affable, charming, and so much more that fills me daily. I remember witnessing your first breath, the first time you open your eyes, the first time you said daddy, your first steps, your first word, your first dance, to your first day of daycare and so much more. It’s been a hell of a journey building this life together with you. It’s hard to believe it’s almost been a decade since we met because it feels like yesterday. Yet somehow, I feel like I’ve known you my whole life. I’m so thankful for your spirit, laughter, courage, beauty, motherhood, companionship, and patience.

I pray that you appreciate how far you’ve come and get a chance to smell the roses. I pray that you grow to trust me with your baggage so you no longer suffer in silence.
