Sunday mornings watching Lucas play football and watching the man who “didn’t want any more dogs” cradle his newest baby on the sidelines. 😂⚽️

She went from abandoned in Cyprus to this. I think she’s quite happy with the arrangement. 🐾🤍

Couldn’t leave the girls out of Halloween 🎃🐓 Little satsuma trick-or-treat buckets filled with goodies, while I enjoyed a doughnut and some autumn sunshine.

Pumpkins for them. Pumpkin spice for me. ☕️🍂

Some girls have guard dogs. I have a small cloud who’d report a chicken to HR 😭🐔

Never thought I’d look forward to 6.30am starts, but a quiet garden and little faces waiting to be fed have changed that 🤍

Spent some time just sitting in the grass today, letting them come to me in their own time… and three ended up on my lap 🥹🤍

There’s something so lovely about earning an animal’s trust. We’ve only just started this little journey, but these moments are already becoming my favourite part of the day.

The instructions said to sit still and calmly hand-feed the chickens.

Nobody mentioned they’d come at me like tiny dinosaurs while I tried not to scream. 🐓😂

Day 4 of having chickens and I’m still being bullied by the girls.

DAY 2 AND WE HAVE OUR FIRST EGG 🥹🥚
Why am I this proud?! 😂

It genuinely blows my mind that these tiny dinosaurs can make an actual egg, shell and all… and now we get to collect fresh eggs from our own girls.

Six little chickens arrived two days ago and I’m already obsessed. 🤍

Who do we think laid our first one?! 👀
