Not my best painting, but here's a quick painting of what I saw yesterday when I took off my eclipse glasses during the full eclipse.
Nothing compares to the sight of such an event, the magnitude of colors in motion sparks of light and dancing shapes is one thing that brands you for life.
There was this red tongue of fire coming from the side that I tried to paint as I remembered. Next to it is a pink sphere, it was so so vibrant in its pink that it looked like a precious stone, they call this phenomenon the pearl of Baily and it was jaw dropping.
Finally the last visual insanity to witness was these strings that come out of the moon and sun's silhouette, I painted them a bit too thick, they were way thinner and they were moving! Dancing slowly with the movement of the moon.
If you ever get the chance to look at a total eclipse it will tumble your life, for one, you can take the glasses off and watch the sun being totally covered, and the landscape is in a sort of sunset light, but darker. If I get more time I'll try to paint how it affected the scenery, but this is how it was. The photographs online have really nothing to do with what it looked like, this does, and you'll have to take my word for it, or check the next one for yourselves.

"Kanikosen / The crab cannery ship"

Here are some sketches I've been doing lately after reading the novel of "Kanikosen" by Takiji Kobayashi.

Based on a true story.

In 1929, a japanese crab cannery ship set sail to the sea of Kamtchatka to fish crab in Russian waters.

Under bad conditions, exploitation and the awful mistreatment by the ship's manager, sailors, fishermen and students aboard get together to take power of the ship.

It's a short and easy read :)

"Apex Legends - Season 26"

Hey guys! This summer I had the great luck to work on an advertisement for the Apex Legends game trailer of season 26.
Here are some matte paintings I worked on.
Huge thank you to @manoah_le_conteur for trusting me into doing some really cool shots and letting me be part of the project.
It was very inspiring to follow @slawekfedorczuk 's visual direction and felt very lucky to be part of such a talented team.
