Remember that my bike got stolen? Well sometimes having a bike insurance it’s worth it. I am rolling again with my new spaceship 🚲 🚀

Crazy summer. Fusion again after many years. Surviving the fire and the heat. Climate change and festivals is a topic that concerns me more.

Nevertheless had a great summer. First stage Aufbau with many beautiful people at the Mit Dir Festival 💕 we built the Kraken stage! That was just insane 😄

Planning our first own event with my besties! @disco.oasis came to stay! There will be more 😍

Many gigs I couldn’t believe in my first year here. It was the best summer closing.
Being part of Zuckerzauber summer closing 🥹 🍭afterwards heading to Tarmac to work there at the II. Reihe Bar. Pretty much an adventure trusting the Deutsche Bahn. Spoiler: we had 1 delay and I got there at 2 am. And to close the summer: Hot Maus Era Volumen II by @ciao3lla and @francisff.wav

In between I spent some holidays in Freiburg and the Black Forest 😍 and got a new haircut 💅🏾

Couldn’t ask for a sweeter summer. Thanks to all the friends that always showed up for my gigs 😭✨🪩

MEET PEOPLE OF THE PACIFIC 🌴✨

People of the Pacific is a recently formed DJ duo by two long-time friends, @furia_lavanda & @playagirl2000.

Together, they dig through old-school Disco & Funk, bringing forgotten gems from Latin America together with grooves from all over the world. While their sets can sometimes wander into Nu Disco, Bass House and Tech House, for Disco Oasis they wanted to take a different route — making space for something more organic, soulful and playful.
Part of the Disco Oasis organizing team is also @l.aura.sofia , who has contributed significantly as art director and content creator and shares a friendship with the duo for more than 20 years.

With roots in Managua and Lima, two cities connected by the Pacific coast, the three bring their shared friendship, sisterhood and cultural roots into creating a night full of love for Disco.

@playagirl2000 explores the intersections of different subgenres of house music and the synergies that emerge from them.

@furia_lavanda is known for delivering funky vibes on the dancefloor. Together, they create moments full of joy and vibrant energy.

Having played together at various parties, they have now decided to merge their sounds into a new project: People of the Pacific. Their sisterhood and cultural roots in Managua and Lima - both cities on the Pacific coast - bring together not only their love for music, but also for the sea and beach vibes, creating the perfect atmosphere for a summer evening.

Furia Lavanda ist für vibrierende Vibes auf der Tanzfläche bekannt. Zusammen schaffen sie Momente voller Freude und lebendiger Energie.

Nachdem sie bei verschiedenen Partys zusammengespielt haben, haben sie sich nun entschieden, ihre Sounds in ein neues Projekt zu vereinen: People of the Pacific. Furia Lavanda (@furia_lavanda) nació y creció en Managua, Nicaragua, hasta los 19 años. Hoy es una DJ radicada en Berlín que disfruta mezclar sonidos funky y energéticos, con un estilo bien ochentero pero al mismo tiempo con un toque moderno y electrónico, sobre todo música disco. Al preparar sus sets, busca llevar al público a un viaje guiado por la historia que construye en su mente. Selecciona música que le provoca alegría y comfort y por un profundo instinto de crear conexión a través del ritmo.

“Este show nació del deseo de reflejar los recuerdos de mi infancia y adolescencia en Nicaragua, junto con las nuevas memorias que he ido atesorando en cada visita a casa. Cuando pienso en casita, pienso en mi familia: mamá, papá (q.e.p.d.), mis hermanos, mis sobris, mi mita. Pienso en el calor, el sol, el mar, el viento; en las lluvias torrenciales, las flores, las plantas de mi mamá, los pájaros, los volcanes. Pienso en la isla de Ometepe, donde pasamos casi todas nuestras vacaciones familiares; en las lagunas y los lagos; en los grillos de la noche y en la bulla de las calles de una Managua caliente, llena de tráfico. En los 7 de diciembre en León, mi segunda casa.

Nuestras piñatas fueron una parte esencial de nuestra infancia. Todo giraba en torno a la salsa, el merengue, las risas, mis padres felices y sus amigues. Crecí en una familia que amaba la fiesta, celebrar y bailar. Recuerdo con mucho cariño a mis padres bailando en la sala, al son de la salsa y la música disco, entre torres de CDs. A los 9 años me regalaron mis primeros CDs, de Shakira y Fey. En este set no solo encontrarán música que me hace sentir conectada con Nicaragua, sino con toda Latinoamérica.”

Ab heute tausche ich das Fahrrad 🚲 gegen die Discokugel 🪩
Nach wunderschönen Tagen durch die Natur von Brandenburg und MeckPomm bin ich ready mich für den wunderschönen Sommer vorzubereiten.
Ich konnte es kaum erwarten zu starten und auf einmal stehen ein paar Dates fest. Spontane und lang geplante! Ein paar late Sommer Gigs werden später angekündigt 💌📣
