Some days, setting up an activity to do together feels like far too much effort. Other days the sun is out, the caffeine has kicked in, and we find ways to enjoy the little things.

Whether it’s a dragon brief or something else, it’s nice to just spend some time together, with nowhere else to be, and nothing to rush to.

I’ll take these little pockets of creative time however they come ✨🌘

Why choose.. when you can have both 🤭

One of life’s little pleasures: matching your notebook folio to your accessories ✨

Nobody tells you that becoming a parent means your hobbies start happening in very small windows of time. ⌛️

10 minutes here. 5 minutes there.

A few quiet moments while everyone else is occupied, or better yet, asleep. 💤

Write a few thoughts on paper, sketch something.

Read a page or two.

Gift yourself a moment as a reminder that there’s still space in the day that belongs to just you.

Even if it means stealing your child’s notebook to do it. 🙈

For the quiet places, the long walks, and the moments you wish would last a little longer ❄️🌲
