⚡ Out With the Old, In With the New! ⚡

Another commercial electrical upgrade carried out by Pentacle Electrical and Security Ltd!

This project involved replacing an ageing Merlin Gerin three-phase distribution board with a modern @fusebox_uk three-phase distribution board.

As you can see from the photos, there’s quite a bit more involved than simply swapping one board for another!

The new installation features:

✅ Modern three-phase distribution equipment

✅ Individual RCBO protection for circuits

✅ Surge Protection Device (SPD)

✅ Clearly identified circuits for easier operation and maintenance

✅ A modern installation designed with electrical safety and future maintenance in mind

From safely removing the existing equipment and preparing the new installation to reconnecting circuits and carrying out the necessary inspection and testing, attention to detail is essential.

Single phase @fusebox_uk board going in to supply a rewire of a bathroom and some heating controls.

We opted to run a new sub-main for this job rather than cut and chase the walls to get back to the existing board.

Happy with the way this one came out, tested and labelled upon completion💪
