Ernest Hemingway once wrote: “Every man has two deaths, when he is buried in the ground and the last time someone says his name. In some ways men can be immortal.” Like Alexander before him, we shall not forget his name. He was Dai Goh Dai (大哥大) the “Biggest Big Brother.” So say his name aloud... Brother Tai. Say his name... 陳觀泰. Say his name... Chen Kuan-tai. Rest in Power sir. by @fushengbio
Marco Polo 1975. Fu Sheng, Harrison, and Carter Wong. We’ve seen the old b/w magazine clipping circulating the net for the last quarter century (see first comment), but now we have it in full color @ 300dpi. Check it out on your PC for the full 3000x2100 image. by @fushengbio
A group chat text this week on Chang Cheh’s youth-themed films, made me think of this photo. A very youthful Alexander with his oldest sister. Wish we could all be this young again. by @fushengbio

Article I just wrote on Chang Cheh. Time to myth bust the notion that he has “two” birthdays. https://www.teako170.com/chang_birthday.html by @fushengbio

Labor Day Weekend is here (in the US) which means summer is winding down, and Shawtember is around the corner! Here's a great shot of Alex on the Movietown back-lot. Love the reflection in the automobile's windshield. Time to get those Fu Sheng films in the DVD player and enjoy a classic or two. by @fushengbio
Fu Sheng training with Chen Jih-Liang (aka Yan Yat-Leung) 甄日良 who was Jenny Tseng's uncle, and also one of the three marital arts directors on The New Shaolin Boxers 蔡李佛小子 (1976). Chen was a Choy Li Fut practitioner, and for a while, was one of Alex's sifus. by @fushengbio
Promo/publicity photo for a TV variety show that featured Alex and Jenny. Not sure of the dog's name (lol) by @fushengbio
Jamie Luk with his new copy of Biography of the Chinatown Kid. Childhood friend and Shaw co-star, they went to the same primary school and later reunited at Changgong in the early mid-70s. Jamie told me that when opened the package and first saw Alex’s face on the cover, he was stunned and stared blankly for several seconds. He was very excited and appreciative. by @fushengbio
