I’ve been on many stages, but accepting an award in a room full of artists I deeply admire, from friends to elders - is a dream.

I research and prep as much as possible so that if there is a change in angle, formation, size of shot, anything - I’ve got plan b, c and d 📝

workshopping and refining all the versions of movement, usually leads to just a 4-second shot!

lucky for me these tennis players, chefs, actors and dancers were amazing to work with 🙌🏽 by @future__ancestor

my hubby took these ❤️🌺

I don’t usually take alot of photos of myself but since being pregnant, I am just amazed at how this body is transforming.

What it is capable of.

As if my appreciation for mothers wasn’t already at an all-time high, it is just next level now.

Pregnancy has been kind to me.

Early on there was nausea and fatigue. Currently a bit of rib/sternum uncomfortability (I can feel my body stretching from the inside out 😅).

But now I’m just in a flow of doing what feels good - sleep, movement, nutrients. The simple things 💆🏽‍♀️

Sharing my body with my baby is not just a responsibility, but an honour x by @future__ancestor

I’m about to have a baby, so what does life look like moving forward? How can I be as present as possible as a mother, while managing everything I’ve worked for all these years?

This pregnancy journey has been so beautiful for me, but I still have so many Q’s!

I’m wanting to share my journey with as much transparency as possible.

I’ve come from an industry that always spoke about your “expiry date” - and I’ve had to do so much work to rewire that ageist thinking.

But adding motherhood into the conversation feels like even more niche territory ~ so I’m putting my thoughts out there as they arise, and figuring it out as we go. by @future__ancestor

since becoming pregnant, I’ve never taken so much care of my body and mind in my life 🪷

now at 23 weeks - having been through nausea, fatigue and exhaustion in the first trimester - the journey of pregnancy makes more sense than ever.

9 whole moths of sharing your body, your emotions, your nutrients, you’re everything with this baby ~ before bringing it Earthside ~ seems like the most appropriate rite of passage to parenthood.
