🏀🔥 COACH G ASSIST NATIONAL SPOTLIGHT 🔥🏀

Catalina Foothills High School Lady Falcons | Tucson, Arizona 🔵⚪

Excellence isn’t just measured by wins and losses—it’s measured by culture, character, academics, and the opportunities created for student-athletes!

The Lady Falcons are building something special! Coming off a 21-9 season, with three 5A Final Four appearances in the last four years (2023, 2025, 2026) and three Open Division appearances during that span, this program continues to set the standard. Equally impressive is their commitment to academic excellence, boasting a 3.45 team GPA and a school where over 90% of graduates pursue higher education!

Keep your eyes on Kayanna Chief, Jaidyn Saucedo, Maliya Tiznado, Abigail Peterson, and Abigail Alfaro. With Chief and Saucedo approaching 1,000 career points and their head coach closing in on 100 career victories, the future is bright!

This is what happens when talent, accountability, leadership, and academic excellence come together. Much respect to the Lady Falcons coaching staff and student-athletes! 💯👏

🏀🍌🍉 FUEL WITH PURPOSE. PERFORM WITH ENERGY! 💪🏾

Athletes, your performance starts long before you step on the court! What you eat impacts your energy, endurance, hydration, and recovery. Fruits provide essential nutrients that help fuel your workouts and support recovery. Too many athletes invest hours developing their game but overlook their nutrition. You can’t expect maximum performance while giving your body minimum attention! Take care of your body ON and OFF the court. Your daily habits help determine your success!

Train with purpose. Fuel with purpose. Recover with purpose!

Beyond the Jersey is a Bible study series created for coaches and athletes to explore faith, purpose, identity, and the challenges we face in sports and life.

Together, we learn how to compete with purpose, lead with character, trust God through pressure and adversity, and remember that who we are in Christ will always be greater than what we accomplish on the court. - Coach Glenn taken in USA by @future_wbb_usa

I’m truly enjoying my time at Chandler Gilbert Community College as part of the women’s basketball program! An amazing staff, an incredible group of young women and that’s just the beginning.

When you look under the hood, you discover a beautiful campus, academic opportunities that open doors, and an electric energy you feel just walking around. What makes this place special is the people and the purpose behind what we do. We get to help young women grow, pursue their education, compete in the game they love, and prepare for life beyond basketball.

At this point in my journey, I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. I’m grateful to be here and excited about what we’re building together.

To the young women considering their next chapter: come see it, feel it, and picture your future here. Chandler Gilbert CC is a destination and futures are built here! 🏀💯 @cgccwbb @cgcccoyotes @cgccstudentlife @cg taken in Chandler-Gilbert Community College by @future_wbb_usa

Basketball brings out emotions, confidence, joy, frustration, fear, and everything in between.

Positive emotions can help us trust our preparation, encourage teammates, and stay connected. Negative emotions are normal, too, but how we respond matters. A missed shot, tough call, or limited playing time can frustrate you, but your next action still needs to help the team.

Take a breath, reset, communicate, and get back to your responsibility. You don’t have to feel positive every moment to give positive effort. Next play! — Coach G 🏀 by @future_wbb_usa

At CGCC, Coach Mario cares about the development of both his athletes and his coaches. This weekend, he showed that by giving his assistant coaches the opportunity to lead our JUCO Jamboree games. Great coaches know when to lead, and when to step back and allow others to lead!

Those opportunities build confidence, experience, and trust throughout the program. A great example of a head coach prioritizing total program development over winning a preseason game. We appreciate the opportunity, Coach! 💯🏀 #builtdifferent #development #opportunity #unity #leadership @cgccwbb taken in Chandler-Gilbert Community College by @future_wbb_usa
