What an amazing kick off in Paris for the @pioneerdj_emea Start From Scratch programme!

With an overwhelming amount of applications, we trained 28 Dj talents over the course of 2 days at @a_sideparis

The DJ workshops led by Future Female Sounds instructor @iammamaata focused on beatmatching, looping and effects and had our students team up behind the FLX4 controllers, delivering some super tight transitions!

Thanks so much to everyone who showed up, we hope to be back soon.

“We have officially launched in Jerusalem, Palestine with free DJ Workshops led by @nourpalestina at @sabreenjerusalem , and had an overwhelming amount of applications of potential future DJs, and we have now started the training of these 8 incredible talents! ⭐️

As we continue to document our ongoing DJ Workshop, we will soon be launching an independent fundraiser for Palestine with a unique drop coming Monday the 12th of June, which invites you to take part in unlocking future female talent. This program is 100% volunteer-based and self-financed, and you can help us give this unique opportunity to future female talent in Palestine 🫶🏼🇵🇸

Future Female Sounds core mission is to make DJ’ing accessible to girls, women, and gender expansive people globally - especially to groups who are marginalized for different reasons. We believe that by removing entry barriers such as access to education, DJ equipment, and professional mentoring, we can truly make DJ culture accessible. We find this to be especially important in Palestine where safer spaces are hard to come across, and where an entire identity is unfortunately universally erased, giving very few windows of opportunity 💚🖤❤️

Curious about mixing on vinyl? Ladies Love Vinyl is back with another free vinyl DJ Workshop for FLINTA, this time in collaboration with local @vinylb1tch at @rookrecords, kindly supported by @technics_global and @ortofon_dj 💕

The vinyl workshop (led by @djmaddogtrue ) is for complete beginners, and those with a little experience, looking to deepen their knowledge of handling vinyl, operating the turntables and mixing vinyl. No previous experience is needed!

The vinyl DJ Workshop will take place at Rook Records on 6 June at 1-2.30 PM

Workshop is free, but with limited spaces. Open Call closes on May 29th and successful participants will be notified shortly after via e-mail. LINK IN BIO to apply!
