‘Waar is Jaap?’ is de nieuwe theatervoorstelling van tg.hethuis. Onder leiding van Judith Kruithof startte ze samen met jonge makers Fieke Westland en Timo Lourens een zoektocht naar iemand die niet gevonden wil worden.

Op het prachtige Landgoed Blom zoeken we samen naar antwoorden. Aan de rand van de stad waar in de oorlog werd weggekeken, kijken we de geschiedenis recht in de ogen. Met uitzicht op de natuur, het klooster en het huidige AZC onderzoeken we of we in Nederland een plek kunnen zijn waar niemand meer hoeft te vluchten.

Health shouldn’t feel like a punishment for a period of neglect. This cycle might sound familiar: unhealthy habits slip in, impatience replaces meals with snacks, and then the pendulum swings back toward a rigid, joyless program driven by disappointment and shame.

I’ve learned that the middle ground isn’t found in discipline, but in ritual. These fruit platters, farmers markets visits and homemade meals are nothing but an accountability exercise.

Upcoming weeks I will be writing a new series, in Dutch, to start a conversation on health and artistry. The desire to create, is often accompanied by the desire to destruct. And I wish our bodies would be exempt. by @futurefiwi
