In our April 2026 poll with Brilliant Corners, the biggest “strong identification” numbers tracked with movements: BLM (37%), feminism (37%), and environmentalism (36%). Party-adjacent labels were smaller: MAGA (17%), socialists (16%), moderates (12%).⁠

Move away from party-focused messaging and start with the issue and the values. Young people care about the specifics, not just the chance to identify with a larger group.⁠

In our April 2026 poll with Brilliant Corners, the mix included Gen Z and Millennials, college and non-college, “True Independents,” and “Followers” who seek out political creators multiple times a week. We wanted to hear from everyone.⁠
⁠
What we learned is that messaging has to match priorities. Young men consistently put the cost of living and the healthcare system at the top. Young women are more focused on rights, discrimination, climate change, and deportation.⁠
