It all starts tonight!

@melbfringe kicks off!

I'm excited to be guesting with the brilliant people at @lostintranslationshow

I performed with them at @adlfringe last year and had a blast.

I'll be appearing a few times throughout the Fringe but tonight I'm in their presentation of Twilight.

Basically they take the script of well-known films and run them through multiple online translators and back into English and the cast read the results live on stage.

The show has had sell-out seasons at Adelaide Fringe, @edfringe and the show will sell-out here so grab your tickets fast!

1 of 3 - This month marks the fifteenth anniversary of when I premiered Who, Me. at the @melbfringe (2011).

This show changed my life.

I am forever grateful for what this show gave me.

After doing my first ever solo show in 2010 with my focus on Sherlock Holmes' first ever story A Study in Scarlet (A Study of...) I thought I was one and done. But then something weird happened after each of my Holmes' shows, audience members would come up and talk to me and they would ask 'So is Doctor Who gonna be the focus of your next show?'

I didn't think anyone would want to hear me talk about Doctor Who. I didn't think I had anything interesting to say...

But then the thought of exploring whether being a Fan is a good thing or a bad thing in your life popped into my head. The rest is history.

Here's an excerpt from my Armageddon Convention appearance I recorded in 2011. This was about a month after Melbourne Fringe & I got to perform in front of over 350 pumped-up nerds in one of the lecture Theatre's at @mcec. It was an amazing experience.

Here I bring into evidence my time as a teacher to defend the positive influence Doctor Who has had on my life...

2 of 3 - This month marks the fifteenth anniversary of when I premiered Who, Me. at the @melbfringe (2011).

This show changed my life.

I got to tour this show around Australia & around the world. I got to make amazing friends across the globe. I got to meet and perform in front of my heroes from Doctor Who. Plus I was lucky enough to work with the BBC on multiple occasions:

-The BBC America doco Doctor Who: Earth Conquest 2014.
-The Science of Doctor Who (Aus Tour) 2014.
-The Doctor Who Symphonic Spectacular (VIP Night) 2015.
-The Doctor Who Festival (Aus) 2015.

3 of 3 - This month marks the fifteenth anniversary of when I premiered Who, Me. at the @melbfringe (2011).

This show changed my life.

For most of my performing life I had worked in groups or trios. Circumstances resulted in me needing to start creating work on my own. So I decided to focus on the nerdy things I love.
First with Sherlock Holmes in a Study in Scarlet (A Study of...) in 2010. My first ever solo show.

Then I followed that up with a focus on Doctor Who with Who, Me. in 2011.

That premiere Fringe season was a barnstorming, sell-out success. Thanks to my co-deviser & director Scott Gooding and my producer @milkeproducer

I am forever grateful for what this show gave me.

For the next 10 years I took this show everywhere!
Around Australia, New Zealand, Canada, America, the UK, Edinburgh Fringe...TWICE & my hometown of Dubbo.

The last time I performed the show live was in 2021 for the show's 10th Anniversary.

Here's an excerpt from that performance...

I call this section my 'Tight Five of Murray Gold'. This represents everything I didn't want the show to be...bad puns & obscure in-jokes. The Yeti joke is my favourite though.
