Thank you to each and every one of you there for making me feel something new, to play to a DANCE-floor. It’s an amazing feeling to see people come in for the music. 🤍

a lil backstory for the event : @djjoshuadillon and i started talking about it last november after blak, at the time he just started @give.xl in singapore pushing the faster and younger sounds of techno ; curation being one of their core values. so KL, you just got a taste of what’s going on in SG and what @djjoshuadillon will bring to BLAK 😚

Now, we’re stepping beyond home ground with the launch of our international series, GIVE: WAY, landing at Over & Above @overandabove.kl . Created as a way for us to connect with different cities, scenes, and communities.

GIVE. started as a dream and has grown into something we truly believe in, energy-driven nights that bring people together across sounds and scenes, always centred around the people on the dancefloor. 🪩

For this first edition, we’re bringing together a cross-city exchange of selectors. Singapore’s @djjoshuadillon , @vinnie_stew , and @emilytanx link up with Malaysia’s @fuwu.999 , flowing as one continuous, shared journey on the floor.

A day that’ll stay with me forever. Conceptualised this idea exactly a month before event day and honestly just in awe that we pulled it off. I read somewhere that said “create the things you wish existed” and this would be it, am feeling very fulfilled but also very tired HAHAHA this wasn’t easy to pull off especially if I was doing it alone, so I really want to thank the people that jumped on to do this with me, it is yours to celebrate too 🤍
