“Lay down your soul to the gods rock ’n’ roll!” Cronos of Venom, Conrad Lant, who taught many of us there is thing called Black Metal, has passed on from this world. He was an important idol for me when I started to play the bass, and I later met him once (if only too briefly), before opening for them. Thank you for the music and inspiration and a lesson on how to deliver that on stage - fiercely.

Rest in peace, Conrad Lant, Death is the crown of all.

From seven years ago, since it is a rainy day:
”Meditate on the rain, be like a cloud. They may bring the rain, they may seem to darken the day, but they really just roll on by and mind their own business without stopping to question what a passing city below thinks of them. A clip from a solo bass demo take. Enjoy.” I might add today, that though some might find it a nuisance, the rain is much needed by nature. #basssolo #meditation #rain by @fuzzbringer

Have a fucking weekend - don’t forget to rock ‘n’ roll! Treat yourself a longer workout, a longer meditation session, and a juxtapositional surprise perhaps (these things can be important if you ask me) aaaaand a beer or two or whatever works for you. Who am I to say, just don’t cross others from doing the same. Do what thou wilt and you’re good.

New Fuzzifer merch is in, available on Mon 20th.
White shirts with the design you love, a limited summer edition. These were made at Wood’n’sound one lady sweatshop (thanks Camilla), and they turned out nice. If you want loose fit for hottest days, choose bigger size than normal. Or choose to show your figure, whatever, we don’t judge.

Enjoying myself at the cottage. Attempts of summoning me and calling for my attention will be rewarded eventually but believe me when I tell you, the response time can be anything from hours to several days. And that’s the way it is / so mote it be.

Friday, don’t forget to rock ‘n’ roll! Catch some breath, do what thou wilt, be yourself. Kicking and screaming, or composed and unshaken, but do that and no other shall say nay.

Matti Rautaniemi and Pasi Hynynen talked at Aioni bookshop about the latest book Matti wrote, Tapio Kotkavuoren elämä ja kuolema (the life and death of Tapio Kotkavuori).

The book describes the initiatory path of an old friend of mine, his odyssey among the Temple of Set, and the ideas that eventually lead him to leave, to follow his unique path. A witty, fun, well researched, and enlightening book, I highly recommend this one. Especially to anybody on the initiatory path, _which ever_ your chosen esoteric order and occult philosophical paradigm might be.

With interviewer like Pasi, the questions went straight to the deep end of the pool, further detailing the ideas and concepts one reads in the book. Like the Setian ideas of angular and bending time, to the rather unique concept of black and white magic of the Temple of Set, and the role of imagination in magic, philosophy, and the society. I had such a good time and a healthy dose of good laughs too!
