Saosin - They Perched on Their Stilts, Pointing and Daring Me To Break Custom - cover

So what? You gave him the time of day. ✋😞

Sickest riff ever, especially when they harmonize it 🤘

Finally own a copy of one of my favorite comics THE CROW by James O'Barr. You're not goth if you don't own this ! Something about that black and white indie era of western comics is my favorite. The art in here is gorgeous

Thrifted art and photography books for Sci-fi references, concepts and inspiration. The landscapes in the Iceland book look more fantastical and sci fi than the concept images in Challenge of The Stars! The shots with the Northern Lights are incredible!

Too many books!!!

One of my personal favs, LYCHEE LIGHT CLUB by Usamaru Furuya. It's one volume, so I strongly recommend it. Fair warning, it has a bit of an ero guro streak, heavily influenced by Suehiro Maruo. Take the fascist aesthetic from Marou and add a bit more goth .

Author also did a great adaption of Osamu Dazai's No Longer Human.

Last pic is by me, trying to ape his style haha. I love how everyone has black lipstick 🖤

Becoming a big fan of Steranko ! His graphic design background is evident in a lot of panels. Incredible energy radiating from here. Never was a Marvel guy but I'm getting more familiar with certain artists and authors.

My first Kago manga in English! DEMENTIA 21 by Shintaro Kago, master of all things surreal, strange and grotesque . Not as "gross out" as some other other stuff I've read by him, but just as strange. The chapter covers are so good! One of my top comic artists for sure!
