Sharing this work a little late, in March I got the honour of donating this small piece for the @turpsstudioprogramme exhibition fundraiser, raising for thier end year show production. The turps programme is incredibly special and I feel proud to be able to support the current cohort of students to make their end of year show as impactful as it can be. 👏🏼 by @fvisagiebrooks

Last weekend I exhibited two resin arches in the @blinkandyoullmissitart 10th show at Safehouse 1, having been invited by the amazing @lindsaymapes

We chose to exhibit our work in collaboration, sitting upon three breeze block plinths, directly interacting on the central plinth. Big thank you to @blinkandyoullmissitart and @lindsaymapes for the opportunity to be involved in such a strong group show.

BLINK are marking their 10th Room Share with a ‘Guest Curators + 1’ show. In the run up to Room Share 10 we will be announcing (in no particular order) the Guest Curators and their +1

PV Friday 18th September 2026 6-9pm
Saturday 19th September 12-6pm
Sunday 20th September 12-6pm

Safehouse 1, 139 Copeland Road, SE15 3SN

@blinkandyoullmissitart are doing things a little differently this September. We have invited all our previous Guest Curators to take part in Room Share 10 and to invite an artist of their choice as their + 1. BLINK’s only requirement is that our guest curator’s + 1 has not shown with BLINK before. by @fvisagiebrooks

Side two: it feels like there’s so much of the sea present in this side, so many bits of broken shell and the wavy stripes like wet sand ✨ 2024, Resin, raw pigment, cotton jersey, crushed shell, human hair, cotton organdie, metal fillings, grass, flowers, moss, tree bark, soy wax, mother of pearl shells, glass beads, flowers, 47cm x 35cm x 9cm by @fvisagiebrooks

1-2. This was part of the prep for a commission I did for a collector in late 2024 - in particular experiments with colour and the fabric centre piece.

3-5 The piece while being made over multiple weeks. It was the largest resin I’ve made, filled with complexities due to unusually warm weather and its sheer size impacting setting times. Sometimes I had to do multiple thin pours in a day to keep it “open” and jellying correctly.

6-7 Trying to understand how it might look with overhead lighting, as the collector intended to display it this way.

8 The commission next to the standard sized arches I make. It was a pleasure to make and I am very proud of it. I can’t wait to make something this size again. by @fvisagiebrooks

I’m proud to be showing this piece along with three others in VERTICAL RESISTANCE curated by @lucente_paola as part of @hackneyartweek at @staugustinestower ✨ Shifting beneath you, 2025, 20 x 15 x 5cm, Pigment in Resin by @fvisagiebrooks

Interestingly, since making ‘Hold Hands I
& II’ 2024, I’ve sold a number of pairs of resin arches to collectors, not always made with this directly in mind, but it’s seems that people like to collect them in pairs.

Here is a blue pair from 2025 that’s now in Melbourne, Australia. 🖤 by @fvisagiebrooks
