Guess what I’m making next?? 😂😂

Good morning folks of insta and facebook 👋
For the folks who don’t know me: I make jewellery, I crochet, I paint and I make clothes from upcycled stuff

This is just a tiny collection of my things 🥹💋💋❤️
Oh, and I edit badly.

😂😂😂

This took me most of yesterday. I faffed editting one part of the song, then another, then realised you can only use a small section of it.

So apologies my editting is not perfect. It was LITERALLY driving me insane. So today I stop. And post it anyways.

Love this tune. Love, love, love it.

Share and comment, if you get a chance 💋💋❤️

Tube Map Duvet Cover Dress

On This day 123 years ago Harry Beck, the creator of the London tube map was born.

So I thought it would be fun to look back at when I met up with colour therapist Momtaz whose friend Leah had transformed her duvet cover of the London Underground Map into a dress.

I DID IT!!

So for many, many years my dear friend Ann (my friend who recently died) used to try to explain how to use a sewing machine to draw.

For the life of me, I just couldn’t get it. I tried and tried and tried, and I just couldn’t get it right.

Que- a random video on Instagram (which I will find and tag) and I am watching someone draw- and I still don’t get cut. Today I realised it’s because I draw quite a lot.
But within this video I asked, what is it your doing? I really don’t understand? All she said was- I’m moving the fabric to draw.

The video was by https://www.instagram.com/crafty.rats?cplk=MXhyM2VsOHRuMnN0eg==

By @crafty.rats

That was it.
My brain suddenly got it, therefore it needed to have a go immediately. A friend recently gave me a dinky Bernina that she found in a charity shop for £12 😱😱

(IT’S LIME GREEN- not that I am colour obsessed or anything?!?!-I was actually shocked she didn’t mention 😱😱😱)

So anyways, this is my first time drawing with a sewing machine- and it obviously needed to be Sir Tarquin Badgeral Smythe.

It is one of the weirdest experiences I think I have ever had. 😂😂😂

Oh god, this means I can make appliqués now 🙄🙄🫣😂🙌

Moving through The Perfect Storm felt like travelling inside a living artwork. Even the corridors came to life — glowing with colour, couture, sound, and the kind of beauty that makes you slow down just to take it all in.

From one room to the next, the audience didn’t just follow the path… they became part of it. Every step, every glance, every reaction added to the installation, turning the journey itself into a shared experience of wonder.

A reminder that magic isn’t only found at the destination — it’s woven through the spaces in between. #londonfashionweek #couture #hibiscus_ibiza by @fwaylawn

This event last Sunday, the photos and videos coming through are still blowing my mind, the incredible performers like @mscocodeville weaving words and encompassing @hannah.shillito’s work. The incredible artisty of the models- like @darlingcocokolin whose performances made this whole event magical- rather than a traditional stiff runway show. The endless artists in the creating the mood and backdrop like @patgrimm - that’s so essential to the FaeEL of the whole thing.
And then the photographers- who have captured the fever dream that was @hibiscus_ibiza and @carleyhaguedesigner beautiful and wonderful love child 😍😍😍#londonfashionweek #installationfashion #artistsofinstagram❤️art #feverdream #fashionshow

(It won’t let me paste the full credit list- this is available on most other posts and @hibiscus_ibiza ) by @fwaylawn

I sat in @shoreditchparkstudios huge space on Friday afternoon by my self amongst the suitcases and boxes and said “what have I done?”
How was I going to create this epic spectacle I had inside my head?
Thankfully @frankie_boyle_studio turned up and then we started to transform the space with her impeccable lighting skills
@hannah.shillito bought the extra joy and sparkle ✨ @yanskates bringing flowers to blow your socks off, @foxandfurb and @weirdstock.living collabed to make the boudoir of dreams.
@thealternativelimbproject brains combined with @thesustainablesequincompany and @patgrimm trippy projections made me feel so so excited and that this journey was going to be something off the scale!

I actually feel very proud of myself and immensely grateful that I have all these crazily talented friends who give so much and want to share their love of the arts with you all x

I want to say a particular thank you to my right hand woman @christinahardinge who was there to reassure me and make sh@t happen, harking back to creative projects we had done together before.
And dear @axlfshaw for wiping everyone into shape.
And to the wonderful @bellamfleur who has worked so hard on many aspects of these @hibiscus_ibiza designs, as well as not only surviving, but rising to the challenge of being thrown into the deep end managing the marathon of dressing all the models, as we were many assistants down.

The show morning had many twist and turns for many reasons, but I marveled at @astridkearneymakeup incredible team turning out iconic looks left right and centre. Creating masterpieces!

Making it all come to life - the gorgeous models and performers bringing that wild energy and exuberance to each of the space 💡

Beautiful @prosumerama created sound tracks for each room cranking the emotions up to another level!

It’s amazing what you can achieve by giving a bunch of talented human beings a brief and letting it run wild! x
Love you all dearly. 💋

We made magic to imprint on the minds of people for the rest of their lives 🙌🏼

Photos @kamilkustosz - my lovely hubby x

The next part of THE PERFECT STORM journey: **BETWEEN WORLDS** ✨

The corridors weren’t simply routes from one room to another—they were part of the immersive experience. Fashion, character and performance spilled beyond the installations, turning every transition into another unexpected encounter. ✨

The fabulous Bougie @beaux.mercer led the way alongside @carleyhaguedesigner and @beksiesboutique, with glimpses of @r.osew, @themimichanel, @yosclark, @brokedirtyblonde, @lali.moor and @naomibonafaux appearing along the way. 🤩

Because at THE PERFECT STORM, even getting to the next room was a performance. ✨
