The Forum of Worldwide Music Festivals (FWMF) is a network of festivals focusing on global music, cultural richness and local culture. We are an inspiring platform connecting music festivals from all parts of the world - together.

The FWMF is a member-driven network that loves to exchange music, collaborate on inspiring projects and join forces on exciting new initiatives. We share artists and ideas, work together and are not afraid of taking artistic risks. Interaction and collaboration between our members are our core activities, and FWMF also seeks to facilitate links with other festivals and networks.

The FWMF is organized as a non-profit cultural association with its paid secretariat based in Belgium. The work of the FWMF is organized by an unpaid Executive Board elected by the members. In cases where specific topics are raised or urgently needs to be worked on, the members created unpaid working groups.

The network has over 50 members representing a wide variety of music festivals: from a showcase festival in Cabo Verde, a folk music festival in Førde to an eclectic mega-festival in Ostrava. Locations are spread from Tromsø to Manresa, from South-Korea to Slovenia. by @fwmf_

Our network's mission is to foster cultural diversity through music, creating a global platform of music festivals from different regions and traditions where we can share, celebrate and enrich musical experiences.

We work hard to contribute to a more diverse, inclusive and plural society. The FWMF mission is to unite creators, artists, audiences and festival organizers to establish a global community of solidarity, curation and innovation.

Our members create different spaces where all musical genres are welcome, we celebrate intercultural dialogue and mutual understanding. by @fwmf_
