559 Fights and FXC – Firepower are pleased to announce the addition of Tony Padilla as Executive Director of Fight Operations for both organizations.

Padilla, who will continue in his role as Sr. VP with Combate Global, brings more than 20 years of experience in combat sports, including 20+ years operating SSP, nine years with Combate Global and six years as Bellator’s local promoter in Southern California.

His primary focus with both UFC Fight Pass promotions will be identifying, developing and creating opportunities for the next generation of MMA talent.

“Tony has been developing fighters in this market for more than two decades and understands what it takes to help young talent reach the next level,” said Jeremy Luchau, CEO of 559 Fights. “Having his experience involved with 559 Fights is going to be a tremendous asset to our athletes and our organization.”

“Tony’s relationships, experience and ability to recognize talent speak for themselves,” said Tom Anderson, CEO of FXC – Firepower. “We’re excited to have him help us develop fighters and continue building Firepower on the UFC Fight Pass platform.”

“I’ve always enjoyed discovering young fighters, giving them opportunities and watching them develop,” Padilla said. “I’m excited to work with Jeremy and Tom and use my experience and relationships to help develop the next wave of talent coming out of this region.” by @fxc_tom
