Coming to SHUDDER this month! So proud of this creature I got to build For Mike Wiluan's film "Monster Island" aka "Orang Ikan" which we shot In Indonesian jungle in 2023. Some on-location fun with alligator puppets. These are from Robert Devine's Anatomorphex and we recently used them on Righteous Gemstones and Happy Gilmore 2. We get to play around and test out shots like this because we need to rehearse with the stunt teams, sometimes with sophisticated rigging work, and in this case also work in the presence of real alligators and the gator safety teams. On Gemstones we spent several long days in wetsuits in a swamp, a lot of it at night. This is a great full-body workout 10/10! Got to again work with excellent puppeteers and mechanics on these shows- Erik Beck, Marcus Hunt, Peter Chavako, and on Gemstones, stellar stunt coordinator Cory Demeyers. We were also with some serious A-list talent in cast- Eminem on HG2, and Michael Rooker, Walton Goggins, John Goodman, Sean William Scott on Gemstones. Crazy! Awesome little SAG puppeteering job for Robert Devine, @clashroyale campaign with Dr. Frank Gallagher Skeleton Army Evolution with @williamhmacy 🕹️ #clashroyale #organdonation with Bob Standlee, Carrie Kruger, Marcus Hunt and Kelli Barksdale. We played a scene with William H. Macy and these little skeletons. I probably did 25 takes of throwing this bone after Macy hands it to me. This job has gotten me a chance to directly play on camera with a lot of famous people since day 1. This one was a rush because we didn’t know who was going to be in it until we walked into the set and saw him standing there!! by @fxholt
