Expo Malaga 2027
.

I was asked by Teatro Soho TV to join them and work together into this animation piece that was part of Spain’s candidature, during the 171st BIE (Bureau International des Expositions) assembly in Paris, where the City of Malaga defended its candidature to host the 2027 World Expo.

This explainer video for Spain’s candidature, a Specialised Expo in Malaga under the theme “The Urban Era: towards the Sustainable City”, travels through a 3d mockup of the projected plot that will host the Expo, the main avantgarde building and its different areas; highlighting the links to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for 2030, and all the activities that the project will offer to the visitors.

Produced by Teatro del Soho TV

Animated poster for the 42nd Anniversary of one of the oldest and most famous book shop in Malaga @libreriarayuelamalaga. Such an iconic venue where I was also invited as a dj for playing some tunes and entertaining their book-loving friends.

#TBT I couldn't get more excited about helping out with the motion & graphics to @daveinfilm and @tomasybarra on this beautifully crafted short film during the early stages of confinement because the global pandemic, made by actual NASA imagery and conversations featuring former astronauts Scott Kelly, Terry Virts, Naoko Yamazaki, Jay Apt and Ellen Ochoa; and accompanied by an incredible sound design that takes you by the hand on an intimate space walk.

Awarded with 1st prize as Best Documentary and 2nd prize as Best Short Movie in the 6th CineSpace International Short Film Competition organised by @nasa and the @cinemahtx
