👁Rite Ways. Selfish Matter. I saw this post by @thefaint today and it made me think, very deeply. I only call this a selfish matter because I never would have thought I’d be so close to my heroes. Not at first. But eventually.

I’ve had the pleasure and honor to collaborate with Dapose, Clark, Todd, Jacob, Nate Walcott, James Cuato, Jamie Montes, Jon Tvrdik, Seth Johnson and more as FXTHR^. Very emotive and full of deep truth. I love these people with all my heart, all of my wellness and all of my being. Infinite dreams.

We have performed together, recorded, cried, argued, and did everything we could to create something very special. Dozens of performances, installations, lectures, writings, interviews, and mostly confusion. Understanding one another is difficult some times and it takes patience, work, and mostly LOVE. I am in deep gratitude to these beings for a memorable journey. It’s only beginning. ♾. @toddthefink @jontvrdik @enfantcoma @clarkbaechle @thefaint @natewalcott @jamiemontes @sandrocuato @fxthr and thee only DAPOSE. 🌹 by @fxthr

Rite Ways: new Historical Romance single titled “Gone So Long” available in my Bandcamp now. This one is a very real look at why I am so fond of techno and dance music. It’s also an exercise of being in my own head too often, which can torture into submission sometimes. Also announced two shows, one on Sept 18 with @nakatanitatsuya @weareprojectproject as FXTHR^, and the first Historical Romance performance @reverb_lounge on November 11 with Visual Artist Alex Myers @a_and_nota and some fun openers tba. Dayze of Wonder: New track from Historical Romance titled, “Relationship with Eternity”. Which focuses on the splendor of architecture within postmodern discipline of art history. Not just that but it’s emotional and spiritual value. Not dissimilar from any totem we utilize each day as remembrance to why we are here and who we love. It’s incredible to fall into. Hope you are all so well. Link in bio. Listen loud!!! ♾ taken in Omaha, Nebraska by @fxthr

Brighter Dayze? This one gave me the most hostility I can remember as an artist. Track titled, “What It Means To Bring Us To Light”. Overwhelmingly full of wholeness, grateful and somewhat unassuming about all of it. At ten and a half minutes, this brings me the true meaning of the unifying field. Somewhere between Dutch, Indonesian, and Russian Gabber influence, to the vortex of the medial plane that is now, almost summer. I am usually unaware. I think it all has angelic pulse……what a time to be alive. Let’s take care of one another please? listen with decent headphones or stereo. Maximum Care = Maximum Results. Stay patient and enjoy this time of change yet again. It’s possible to dream. ♾ taken in Omaha, Nebraska by @fxthr

Heavy Ways: this is the first full body of work I’ve accomplished as Historical Romance. 3 tracks at 17 minutes. Titled “Perceptions of Love”. This took a month to create. It’s like letting go of a friend until discovery of what’s next. That’s a blessing isn’t it? Massive influences on this were: Ryuichi Sakamoto, Richard James, Joe Mickeliunas, Robert Trujillo, Trent Reznor, Bobby Krlic, and David Bowie. Link to my Bandcamp is in my bio. ♾ @skmtgram @instaphex @jmickeliunas @robtrujillo @treznor @thehaxancloak @davidbowie taken in Omaha, Nebraska by @fxthr

Jacob passed away a year ago today. Thinking of it in terms of time is strange. I’ve been thinking of him and our time together. I’m always thankful of the time we spent with one another. Late at night when we were so vulnerable and full of truth. I miss him. by @fxthr

Has winter felt unfamiliar yet? It’s almost over. Be brave, I tell myself. This new Historical Romance track was an honor to achieve for some reason. It took a month to make. Many hails to Gorecki, Immolation, James Hetfield and Kevin Shields for reference in this one. It was true torture. Be well please. Let’s do better. ♾ link in bio. taken in Omaha, Nebraska by @fxthr

Heavy Dayze: New track titled “Divine Currency”. No melody, no harmony or symphony of anything significant. Paranoia, anxiety, then yesterday I saw so much ambition in the form of joy with many of you. Bravo! Keep it up. This is the 6th single I’ve released since August and probably the last until the start of the new year. It took the longest. I am contemplative about it all. Once again...Next, let’s try changing the shape. Be well, please. ♾ taken in Omaha, Nebraska by @fxthr
