🎓🥹❤️ MASTER’S DEGREE: COMPLETED! ALL GLORY TO GOD! 🙌🏽

Finally, I can say I DID IT! 😭❤️ These past 1.5 years have been some of the most challenging years of my life. Moving from Auckland to Melbourne, away from my family and everything familiar, to pursue this dream was not easy.

The intense workload, barely having breaks, financial struggles, sickness, depression, and loneliness pushed me to my limits. There were many moments I wanted to give up and times when all I could do was pray and take it one day at a time.

But through it all, GOD WAS FAITHFUL. 🙏🏽❤️ When I struggled financially, He provided. When I felt exhausted, He gave me strength. Even when I wanted to travel and experience new things, He made a way. Looking back, I can see His hand over every part of this journey.

To my family and church family in New Zealand, thank you for your constant prayers, love, and encouragement. To everyone in my community who believed in me, supported me, checked on me, and reminded me that I could do this thank you. Your support carried me through some of my hardest days.

This degree is more than an academic achievement. It represents sacrifice, resilience, growth, answered prayers, and God’s faithfulness. It also represents breaking generational curses and setting a new standard of excellence for those coming after me. I’m proud of myself for not giving up, but most of all, I’m grateful to God for carrying me when I didn’t have the strength to carry myself.

He started this work in me, and He has been faithful to see me through to this moment. 🥹🙌🏽 Philippians 1:6

WE MADE IT! 🎓😭❤️

Master’s degree DONE! ✅ All glory belongs to God.

I realized something about myself: I’m often much harsher with myself than I am with other people. I give others grace, patience, and understanding that I don’t always give myself.

And it made me question the idea of, “Treat others the way you want to be treated.” Because what if the way I treat myself isn’t actually loving?

I don’t want my lack of grace toward myself to become the standard I place on others. I want to learn how to love myself with the same compassion I’m so willing to give away.

Not so I can love others less, but so I can love them from a healthier place. There needs to be a balance learning to love yourself well while still allowing that love to overflow onto others. 🤍
