The problem with keeping an emergency fund in a normal savings account is that it feels safe because the balance doesn’t move, but its actual value is shrinking the whole time.

Your TFSA is the one account SARS legally can’t touch, but only if you play by the rules.

The annual limit is now R46 000, the lifetime limit is R500 000, and one mistake with withdrawals or over contributions can cost you years of tax free growth.

If your TFSA is stuck in a bank savings account, Fynbos makes it easy to move it and actually invest it.
