the most wonderful summer job anyone could ever ask for.

thank you to the new friends i met, the countless sweaty hours in the park helping scenic, an internship program and company that genuinely cares about their interns, the plethora of bug bites, the new mentors and continued mentorship from people i’ve known for years, the air conditioning in the rehearsal hall that can never choose a comfortable temperature, but most importantly, thank you to the globes players and kyle ware for their dedication and commitment to creating meaningful art. getting to show up to “work” everyday and create art with some of the most talented young adult shakespearean actors i’ve ever met continues to inspire me and reminds me why theatre is important. thank you all for the summer of a lifetime.

that’s all one, our play is done.

i will forever cherish these past five weeks. i am overwhelmed with gratitude for the many (gluttonous) doordash orders, multiple misinterpretations of the script (mainly from me), countless among us games, numerous costume repairs (i’m so sorry jessie), and the innumerable falls flat on my face… thank you 2.5, every day this past month has brought me a new thing to be joyful about. as kyle ware so eloquently said, “fame is fleeting, but friendship is forever”. these friendships are forever, this is family.
