Deconstructing familiarity, rebuilding identity.
 Gill Bhava, a recent graduate of Fashion & Design, reimagines menswear through an upcycled lens inspired by her father’s closet. Her graduate collection transforms everyday garments, jeans turned into dresses, boxers worn as tops, Timberlands elevated into heels, blurring the line between memory and innovation. With digital draping and playful reconstruction, Bhava challenges how we perceive masculinity, wearability, and emotion in clothing.

My graduate collection about my dad’s confusion with my study. Taking the dada spirit to upcycle my dad’s closet into non-sensical clothing to confuse him more.

Happy to announce that he went from asking me whether i’ll be a sales assistant or factory worker to if I’ll work in fashion 🥰🤭 haha
