if u’ve ever googled ‘how to invest’ then got overwhelmed and closed the tab... comment.

why’d u actually stop? was it the jargon? the fear? the feeling like u were behind? i get it. that was me for 2 years. by @g.rxce

we moved to sg when i was 9 just for me to eat white rice and curry sauce everyday in primary school…

that’s the beginning of this toxic obsession and addiction with saving money…

on paper, it looked like i was doing everything “right”. no rich parents, no inheritance, no investments. just consistency, self-discipline, and a girl who refused to stop hustling. by 18, i crossed into 5-figure savings.

but here’s the part i never said out loud for a long time: inside, i was still in survival mode.

i had money in the bank, but my body was still bracing for impact. i felt guilty whenever i spent on myself. i felt uneasy when things felt “too easy”. i didn’t know how to relax without feeling like something bad would happen if i stopped grinding. i knew how to save and sacrifice. i didn’t know how to feel safe.

for so long, i thought being “good with money” meant always choosing the cheapest option, always saying no to myself, always working, always preparing for the worst. i thought that once i hit a certain number, the fear would disappear on its own. it didn’t.

so now, i’m learning a different lesson. that money is not just about survival, it’s also about freedom. the freedom to breathe. to dream a little bigger. to buy a meal without counting coins in my head. to set aside a small fund just to enjoy, to look good, to feel good, without punishing myself after.

i’m learning that intentional spending on myself isn’t being irresponsible, it’s an act of love. i’m learning that i don’t have to suffer to “deserve” nice things. i’m learning to be okay with ease, to stop equating comfort with guilt, to let the younger version of me finally rest a little.

if you grew up counting every dollar, or you’ve hit a money goal and still don’t feel truly safe or happy, you’re not alone. you can be proud of how far you’ve come and still admit that surviving is not the same as living. by @g.rxce

this post isn’t to say “look at me!!!!”
it’s to show that even if you’re starting small…it still counts… it really really does
even if it feels slow nowww it still matters
And even if you don’t come from much…you CAN still build something for yourself.

I saved my first $60k at 23, while still being a student…
honestly this might be nothing to people out there but this is my journeyy and this is how i did it 😚

not because I came from money.
not because I had some crazy high-paying job.
annnd definitely not because I had everything figured out…

I just started young, kept trying, and stayed consistent with a few rules for years.

I was juggling school, tuition, part-time work, and trying to make things fit AND it wasn’t always easy… but i had a bigger picture in mind and i was dead set on achieving it

sooo for some of yall out there that might be feeling tired from doing so much… but babes doing so much WILL get you there… trust the process by @g.rxce

3.30am thoughts… perhaps this period of my life is where i actually acknowledge and learn about who i am… i am still gna run… im still gna work hard but ig this is to remind myself that i am still human… i can question …but i just have to keep on moving forward by @g.rxce

buying luxury goods has ALWAYS been on my to do list and i always thought aiya one day ill get it…

but i cant make the purchase… even worse…
i cant even use the gifts…

i guess as im turning 24… this is the lesson i needa learn… by @g.rxce

i think this is my most candid ever vid… no scripts no nothing… perhaps my slowest ever vid ever… its 12am and i just reached home from 4 b2b appts…

and just feel like perhaps 2026… is teaching me something… im only 23… i should not be feeling this way so often…

lets learn to rest bah… by @g.rxce

well… i keep receiving texts like “ive wanted to start for the longest time” “i know its important…” but…

the but i wna wait its the scariest cus sometimes they are waiting for the intangible… waiting to feel ready…

and this experience rlly showed me that… there is no such thing by @g.rxce

people only buy insurance for ONE reason: to receive payouts. if you can’t get them, what’s the point of having of insurance??

financial advisors aren’t the biggest scam in insurance. it’s believing that coverage ALONE solves everything.

this video is really important for you & your aging parents… more issues will come up with their health and the likelihood of claims would increase significantly with age. so do the responsible thing and make sure your parents get LPA done! by @g.rxce

biggest mistake was not realising how much impact this risk has on my investment… by @g.rxce

one main big takeaway is....

there MUST be sacrifices to be made if you really want to achieve something and if you aren't willing to make the sacrifice... u can't complain that things ain't going your wayyy~ by @g.rxce
