Proud to say that I am officially a graduate of Florida State University!

While this is one step toward my ultimate goal of becoming a physician, it is also a reminder of the fire within me and the dedication it took to get here over the past four years.

Thank you FSU for the memories, the opportunities, and most importantly, the lifelong friendships. I will always be grateful I chose to become a Nole.

Today is especially meaningful. As a first-generation graduate, I carry not only my own dreams, but the sacrifices that made it possible for my family to be here in America.

On what would have been my grandmother’s birthday, I feel her with me more than ever. I love you and miss you dearly. This moment is a reflection of everything you gave and everything you believed I could be.
