To be able to say “I am the first girl to go to states in 26 years at Lehigh Senior.” is an insane achievement and honor that I will now carry with me throughout the rest of my time at this school. How I raced today might not have been how I wanted to but I am so so lucky to be moving on to states. I placed 9th with a time of 19:27. taken in Northport High School by @g_delpizzo

Regional Meet
5•7•2022
This season has been nothing but a bumpy road but you have to get over tough side of the hill to get to the easy way down. Which is why I am happy to say that I made it to the state meet of the 2022 track season!! Today wasn’t my best race but it showed me that i have what it takes to do better and I just need to focus and put in some more work this week at practice. I placed 6th in my region with a 5:20.54 in the 1600 meter run. I’M GOING TO GAINESVILLE!!!!! taken in Alonso High by @g_delpizzo

North port Invitational
3•10•2022

I didn’t run so well today. I ran the 1600 and the 3200. I placed second in both with a 5:26 and a 12:12. In the mile I couldn’t get the start I wanted because I got boxed in straight out off the line. I also fell TWICE in the 3200. The first fall was in 1st lap around 300 meters in and the second fall wasn’t even 60 meters into the 5th lap. I am going to try the 3200 again because I can’t go through the rest of a season knowing I gave up on it. At least I broke the school record in the 3200 🤷 taken in North Port High School by @g_delpizzo

Naples High School

I was supposed to run the 4x400 and the Sprint Medley (100m-100m-200m-400m) as the 400 but we couldn’t because some of my teammates were injured and we had no replacements. In the Sprint Medley, we placed 2nd and I ran roughly a 1:03 in the 400 part of it. taken in Naples High School by @g_delpizzo

First track meet of the season. I ran the 1500 and broke my previous pr at this meet that was held over 1 year ago. My new pr for the 1500 is 5:02. Which is like 12 ish seconds faster than last year. I was happy with how I ran today because I proved to myself that I haven’t been slacking off and I am where I need to be. Overall a good start to an soon to be amazing season. SHOUTOUT to Ryan for running a 4:49.10 in the 1500! taken in Ida S. Baker High School by @g_delpizzo
