Its beginning...

Got a chance to catch the view from Timberline Iodge at Hood on Saturday, and got really exited! It's gonna be here before we know it🤘

Practice pays off!!

Earlier this summer, I posted a clip, where I did all 8 fundamental rail tricks in a couple hours. I did these 4 tricks, both on my natural and unnatural sliding sides.

K-fed
Brittany
Ellen
Ray Charles

In truth, the day I posted getting all 8, it was the first day that I had ever done an unnatural Ray Charles. It was a really great day! I was pumped! Fast forward a couple months, I wanted to see if I could do all 8 in a row, with no misses.

I've been out here in the back yard, sometimes not for very long, but consistently everyday, working on these tricks and others, trying my best to get ready for the 26-27 winter season. Mondays and Thursdays, I have it set to do all 8, in as little time as possible. I've been getting closer and closer to perfect runs. I didn't do it today, but with a bit more practice, I know it'll happen! Practice really works. Sometimes it's not great, sometimes it's not fun (most of the time it is), but days like today make the effort all worth it! Stay practicing, my friends🙂

This summer, my downhill mtb time has been pretty slim. I absolutely love it, and it usually takes a front seat, but there's just been too many other things this summer. Chasing the snow during spring and early summer was definitely a big reason! 6 days in, and it's August? But the 6 days were killer. 2 at Stevens, 2 at Whistler, and 2 at Tamarack, near McCall, ID.

Didn't get much whistler footage. It was my first time there, and honestly, we were just in the moment. That place is RAD!

Stevens and Tamarack are super legit spots to ride as well. Tamarack flow trails are kind of a hybrid flow/tech, which is is a great time, keeps you on your toes!

Summer session 5 at Windells was a blast! I wasn't sure what to think going into it, with the snow gone at Hood. Honestly, session 5 was every bit as good as their session 2 on snow, maybe better! Hunter Henderson hitting the Banger bag with us, 3 hour daily bag sessions, sometimes longer, awesome coaching- especially Austen, dry slope rails sessions and trampoline air work. So good!

Thanks @chausce for 🎥 and coaching!
Thanks @windellscamp and @wyeastacademy for the bangin' setup, facility, and staff
