Last week, the GAACC Women’s Club gathered at @sitiatx for an inspiring evening of networking, delicious food, and incredible conversation with Chef Laila Bazahm (Owner of Michelin Guide Recommended @sitiatx and @elravaltx ).

Chef Laila shared her powerful career transition — leaving a successful finance career at age 28 to pursue her culinary passion across Manila, Singapore, San Sebastian, and Barcelona before opening two celebrated concepts right here in Austin. Her journey reminded us all of the power of bold career pivots, honoring heritage, and leading with authenticity.
