This show was such a wild and fun experience! Thank you so much to @jeffreyajohns @jasonbelanger2 @jen_kornswiet and @jay_falz for this opportunity. I was so lucky to not only be a swing for this production but also have an onstage track that allowed me to be featured!

First Swing On ✅
Also I went on with NO put in rehearsal!!

Just a lot of freaking hard work, some swing brain, and a note with my set changes stuffed in my bra.

I have wanted to be a swing since I was 16. And to get the chance to do it Off Broadway is truly a dream come true.

I was always worried I would be too anxious to be a swing but today I took a deep breath, trusted myself and just did the show like it was any normal show. Even though it felt so very special.

I’m proud of myself today.

Also I got to perform WITH EVERY SINGLE SWING AND STAND BY ON! Pretty freaking magical ✨

A video of me…DANCING!

For the past few years I took a break from dancing and only took classes sporadically. At first it was due to injury, however insecurity also snuck in there too. Now I’m ready to get back at it. I have a long way to go, but I’m so grateful to have found the joy again. 💛

Only ONE WEEK until 🩰En Pointe🩰 hits the NYC stage at @theratnyc, and we have more wonderful cast members to introduce!

Today, the marvelous @gabbemel takes on an iconic love ballad and gives it her own (very WLW 😉) twist 🩷🏳️‍🌈✨️

🎖 Gabbe Meloccaro (she/her) is ecstatic to be performing with Needs More Work Productions for the first time! Born and raised in Wichita, KS and a graduate of Wichita State University with a BFA in Musical Theatre. She most recently was seen Off Broadway in Waiting in the Wings and was featured on the original Off Broadway cast album! Regional Credits include: Music Theatre Wichita, Prairie Repertory Theatre, and Mosley Street Melodrama. Sending so much love to Mom, Alex, her family, friends, and her partner Addy. Special thanks to The Rat, Needs More Work Productions, Stella, Sivan and the rest of the cast and crew. 🎖
