It’s ALL about the intentional details ❤️

While planning our wedding, we knew we had to do a lot of DIY to make it the way we wanted. Thankfully, being a wedding planner helped immensely, as did having a very patient and crafty fiancé (now husband).

First up, we wanted to honor folks who couldn’t be there with us, so we had orchids in our personals and planted a hibiscus during our ceremony for Eddie’s mom. I also had two bird charms on my bouquet, one for her, and one for my pop pop Vern who loved birds as much as me. These charms are actually Wingspan playing pieces I bought @officialpax_ unplugged and made them into specialty charms.

We made all of our signage and stationary, thrifted many small details including everything in our flat lay, our cake topper, our cake china, and many other pieces of our decor. We wanted a bright, colorful spring wedding, and boy did we have it.

We also put a lot of focus on our guest experience! We offered a bread bar and “Newlywed Beer Flight” during cocktail hour, personal party portraits by @wilma.illustrated during the reception, and left room for a private last dance for just us behind the barn.

Reflecting a bit on 2025 and I’m so proud to say that I managed to work on TEN weddings this past year. Between planning for @musaweddings, freelancing for @lavishhausevents, and working full time at Grey Towers Castle at Arcadia University, I was able to watch incredible couples tie the knot. I am so unbelievably happy for all of these beautiful people and I’m so grateful I had the opportunity to be just a blip in their story.

Each of these weddings was unique, customized to what felt right for THEM, and filled with so much love. So remember if you’re planning a wedding, that it is the best chance to showcase your love in a way that speaks to you! Whether thats in faerie attire, cultural fusion, a backyard garden party, historical castle grandeur, or even gothic black tie!

While ALL these weddings were beyond perfect, I selfishly need to say that our wedding was my highest ranking in 2025 💗

Huge shoutout to all the venues, photographers/videographers, DJs, and catering companies that helped bring these beautiful days to life! Also thanks to @musaweddings for helping me grow in this industry as a Lead Coordinator and Sales Manager!

Definitely still riding the high from the Philadelphia Cycling Classic this weekend!

When Eddie and I first moved to manayunk, the bike race was all we heard about. It sounded cool, but neither of us were cyclists so we really didn’t understand the hype. Howevet, we quickly drank the Manayunk juice and by 2022 we were both cycling. Eddie started with the ACS 66, while I started slow with some local fun rides. We both completed the MS 75 mile ride, and then attempted the ACS Century Ride. Between some smaller Bikes and Beers rides and the Women’s Triathalons, cycling has fully been integrated into our lives.

I never, ever imagined I would get into cycling, but it’s truly changed my life. It was an activity that Eddie and I could do together, and encouraged us to go further and explore more. Seeing the racers this weekend felt so full circle, and it was simply incredible.

Kudos to all the organizers, especially @philadelphiacyclingclassic. You crushed it, and we can’t wait to see you again on the Wall 💚 taken in Manayunk by @gabby___ann
