🎥 FUN FACT: Neo-Promethean was the first music video directed, shot, and produced by us. We transformed @gabe.rig garage into the set, @chiefonenut assumed the role of DP, and along with a @kzlightingct light show and a @hipstour edit, Neo was created. Enjoy some of the candid BTS we took, and yes, @gxdbrand did put the clamps on his nipples (sadly there’s no photo evidence of that 😪) by @gabe.rig

A lil story behind the recording of Neo-Promethean.

After years of watching and learning (and finally buying all of the gear) Neo is the first song that I have fully engineered drums for! It’s been a long time coming. I’m so stoked with the results and I can’t wait to do more in the new house and room currently being built and to continue to learn and improve.

BIG thanks to @seelectronics for helping out with a large portion of the mics used here. sE8, sE7, XR1, T2, sE4100 were all used here in addition to some other non sE stuff.

And don’t worry, @aronplaysdrums has that intro fill down now 🤠 He was a real trooper tracking this song on the fly and CRUSHED the performance as a whole. Can’t wait to rip this one in Europe next week 🤘🏼 taken in Del Norte, Colorado by @gabe.rig
