These Jalapeño Popper Stuffed Pretzels are loaded with cream cheese, cheddar, bacon, and jalapeños, twisted into a pretzel and baked until golden 😮‍💨 Serve with your favorite dipping sauce, or have them just like this

#easyrecipesathome #stuffedpretzel #jalapenopopper #cooking #comfortfoods

Jalapeño Popper Stuffed Pretzels 🥨 — Makes 3-4 pretzels

Filling:
6 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup shredded cheddar
2-3 jalapeños, diced (seeds removed for less heat, optional)
4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/4 tsp garlic powder

To build:
1 lb store-bought pizza dough (I used @pillsbury pizza dough)
1 egg, beaten (egg wash)
Sesame seeds

Steps

1. Mix together the cream cheese, cheddar, diced jalapeños, bacon, garlic powder, salt, and pepper for the filling.

2. Divide the pizza dough sheet into 3 equal strips (you can get away with 4 in one sheet)

3. Put the filling in a sandwich bag to pipe it in the middle of the dough, or spoon the filling down the center of each strip.

4. Roll the edges over to form a cylinder, pinching the seam shut to seal.

5. Shape each filled cylinder into a classic pretzel twist. Place on a lined baking sheet.

6. Brush each pretzel with egg wash. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.

7. Bake at 375°F for 20-25 min, or until golden/deep brown and toasted.

8. Serve warm and enjoy! by @gabecooks_

#easyrecipesathome #crispytacos #tacorecipe #viralrecipes

Recipe:

Beef

1 lb ground beef (80/20)
1 yellow onion, diced
6 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp tomato paste
1/2 cup beef stock
1 tbsp neutral oil

Taco Seasoning

1 tbsp cumin
1 tbsp chili powder
2 tsp paprika
2 tsp oregano
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp cayenne (optional)

Chipotle Sauce

1 cup mayonnaise
2 chipotle peppers (from a can with adobo sauce)
4-5 garlic cloves
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt
Juice of 1 lime

Pico de Gallo

4 roma tomatoes, diced
1/2 white onion, finely diced
1/3 cup cilantro, finely chopped
1 lime, juiced
2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper

Assembly

6-8 medium tortillas
2 cups shredded mozzarella
Neutral oil, for frying

Steps

1. Heat 1 tbsp neutral oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté until soft, about 3-4 min. Add the minced garlic and cook 30 sec.

2. Add the ground beef and break it up. Cook until mostly browned. Add the taco seasoning and tomato paste, mix well, and sauté 2-3 min.

3. Pour in the beef stock and cook 8-10 min, or until the liquid evaporates and the beef is saucy and fully cooked.

4. Blend all chipotle sauce ingredients together until smooth.

5. Combine the diced tomatoes, onion, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and pepper to make the pico de gallo.

6. Lay a tortilla flat, add mozzarella, 2-3 tbsp beef, and more cheese. Fold it over.
Fry in oil over medium-low heat until golden and crispy on both sides, working in batches.

7. Open the tacos, fill with pico de gallo and chipotle sauce

One-Pot Caramelized French Onion Pasta 🧅 Dinner Ideas That Don’t Suck Episode 3

Save this for later, or comment “Recipe” and I’ll send it to you!

Don’t forget to follow @gabecooks_ for the next episode 👀

#easyrecipesathome #onepotmeal #frenchonionpasta #comfortfoods

Ingredients

- 3 large yellow onions, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 1 tsp salt, more to taste
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp fresh rosemary, chopped
- 8-10 oz orecchiette
- 3 cups beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream (35%)
- 1 cup fresh parmigiano reggiano, grated
- 1/2 cup fresh gruyère, shredded
- Fresh thyme, for garnish

Steps

1. Melt butter with olive oil in a large skillet over medium-low heat.

2. Add onions, salt, cook 30-35 min, stirring often, until deep golden brown and jammy.

3. Add garlic, cook 30 sec until fragrant.

4. Deglaze with white wine, scrape up browned bits, reduce 1-2 min.

5. Add dried thyme, rosemary, and beef broth. Bring to a simmer.

6. Add the uncooked orecchiette (or any other pasta that you prefer) directly to the skillet. Simmer 12-15 min, stirring occasionally, until tender and most of the liquid is absorbed. Tip: Add a splash more of broth or water if it looks dry before the pasta is fully tender. I ended up adding about a 1/2 cup extra.

7. Lower heat, stir in heavy cream. Simmer 2-3 min until slightly thickened.

8. Remove from heat, stir in the parmesan, and top with shredded gruyère cheese.

9. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh thyme.

Easy Dinner Ideas That Don’t Suck Ep. 2 - Steak Frites 🥩

Comment “Recipe” and I’ll DM it to you 🙏

Follow @gabecooks_ so you don’t miss the next one 🔥

Steak Frites was always considered a fancier meal in my eyes, but it honestly couldn’t be easier to make, so stop overspending at restaurants and make it at home instead.

#easyrecipesathome #steakfrites #easydinner #weeknightdinner

Ingredients:

1 ribeye or sirloin steak (or any steak really, don’t need to get fancy here)
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tbsp oil
1-2 tbsp butter
1 clove garlic, smashed

Fries:

1-2 russet potatoes, cut into thin potato sticks (that’s just my preference, but you can cut them as thin or thick as you’d like)
Oil, for frying
Fresh parsley, chopped
Salt, to taste

Peppercorn sauce:

1 small shallot, minced
1 tbsp crushed black peppercorns
1/4 cup beef broth
1/4 cup heavy cream
Splash of Worcestershire sauce
Salt, to taste

Steps

1. Cut the potatoes into fries, soak in cold water 15-20 min to remove excess starch.

2. Heat oil to 350°F. Drain and pat potatoes dry, fry until golden and crispy (time varies by thickness). Drain, toss with parsley and salt.

3. Pat the steak dry, season with salt and pepper.

4. Sear in hot oil over high heat, 2-3 min per side, until a deep crust forms.

5. Lower heat to medium, add butter and garlic, and baste the steak 1-2 min until desired doneness. Remove the steak to rest.

6. In the same pan, cook shallot 1-2 min until soft. Add peppercorns, toast 30 sec, then deglaze with beef broth and simmer 2-3 min.

7. Stir in cream and Worcestershire, simmer 2-3 min until thickened. Season with salt.

8. Slice steak, spoon sauce over top, finish with parsley. Serve with fries and remaining sauce on the side.

Episode 10 of my Loaded Garlic Bread series 🤝 this time we’re loading it up with Cajun seasoned chicken, a creamy homemade Cajun Alfredo sauce, plenty of mozzarella and Parmesan, all on top of crispy garlic bread.

Cajun Chicken Alfredo Garlic Bread 🍗

Garlic butter:

- 4 tbsp butter, softened
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley

Chicken:

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- Cajun seasoning, generously coated
- Salt and pepper, to taste

Alfredo sauce (double the sauce recipe if planning on making a dip also):

- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning (add generously, the more the better)
- Salt and pepper, to taste

To build:

- 1/2 loaf French or Italian bread
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella (split into - two layers)
- Fresh parsley, for garnish

Steps

1. Season the chicken thighs generously with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.

2. Cook in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned and cooked through, 5-6 min per side. Getting a bit of char bits is ideal for flavour.

3. Melt butter in a saucepan, add garlic, and cook 30 sec. Whisk in heavy cream, simmer 3-4 min. Stir in parmesan and Cajun seasoning until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.

4. Preheat oven to 400°F. Split the loaf and spread garlic butter on the cut side.

5. Top with half the mozzarella. Bake 5-6 min until melted.

6. Remove, lay the chicken thighs across the bread (perpendicular to the loaf, side by side down the length), then pour the alfredo sauce over the top. Add the remaining mozzarella on top.

7. Broil 3-4 mins until bubbling and the cheese is fully melted.

8. Slice and enjoy! OPTIONAL: serve with a side of alfredo for dunking, trust me on this one by @gabecooks_
