it took a lot to get to where I am.
and it was only by Gods beautiful grace.

I was a girl relearning how to love myself again
relearning how to love dance again
regaining my confidence to audition for the company
while still battling with an eating disorder that almost took my life

Jesus

It was Jesus who set me free
He filled my lungs with His breath again
I could laugh again
I could smile again
I could dance again
I could worship Him
He gave me endurance
He gave me zeal and passion
He gave me fire
He gave me a testimony

He held my hand in every valley and sang with me on every mountaintop

The girl who once felt empty, lost, bound, and weak
can look back on every moment knowing for a fact that Jesus was in every picture

I wouldn’t be alive if it wasn’t for Jesus
so I live for Him

I wouldn’t be speaking if it wasn’t for Jesus
So I tell others how He set me free

I wouldn’t be dancing if it wasn’t for Jesus
So I dance for Him

I haven’t arrived.
glory to glory
