I am so excited and incredibly blessed to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career and play Division I volleyball at California State University, Bakersfield! First, I want to thank my family for their endless support, sacrifices, and unconditional love. Thank you for believing in me, encouraging me through every step of this journey, and always being my biggest supporters. A special shoutout to my sister, my built-in best friend, who pushes me to be better every single day. I am so grateful to have you by my side through it all. To every coach, trainer, teammate, and friend who has invested in me throughout the years, thank you for helping me grow both on and off the court. Your support, encouragement, and belief in me have meant more than you know. A special thank you to my club director, Terri Span, and everyone at AZ Storm Elite for giving me opportunities to grow as a player and person. Thank you for your guidance, support, and for helping me achieve this dream. Most importantly, thank you to Coach Kristen Wright, Coach Brandon Row, and the entire CSUB coaching staff for believing in me and giving me this incredible opportunity. I am honored to join the Roadrunner family and cannot wait to get to work. Finally, thank you to God for blessing me with this opportunity and guiding me throughout this journey. Through every challenge, setback, and success, He has provided strength, direction, and countless blessings. I am incredibly grateful for His plan and for everyone He has placed in my life to help me reach this moment. Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey. I am beyond grateful and excited for what the future holds. Go Runners! 🏐💙💛 by @gabigilbert2028
