oh… oh that one was really special. getting to do a play about the honest shit that matters in a theater down the street from my home state’s capitol? getting to do a talkback with wisconsinites after every single performance? building empathy, inciting action, and looking fuckin fly as hell??????? oh my god.

ironbound…i already miss you so massively…

2025 was the year i got my dirty little paws all up in a bunch of plays — while mostly taking some intentional steps to free myself from the grips of pretty debilitating OCD.

it was hard, healing, and faith-inducing. my brain feels better and my life feels lighter than a year ago today.

i could write pages and pages more in reflection, but i’ve got a big, real life to live outside of this little app. so i’m gonna keep on keepin’ on. cheers to 2026 and the adventures to come :)

“you’re a game one. i’m glad you’ve grow’d up a game one!”

it was a deeply special thing to come back to this place that enchanted me as an 8-year-old and do my work — celebrate what makes it so special and leave it better than i found it. i’ve said it before, but not in this medium so i get to say it again: this was one of the best summers of my freakin life!!!!!!!

nothing more to say but (say it with me) thanks, and Thanks, and ever FREAKING thanks!

a few weeks ago, we said goodbye to scout — the girl who came into our lives a month after our dad was arrested and reminded us that, even in the face of fuckery, there is joy to be found if you hunt for it. she was a perfect companion and i already miss her massively. by @gabriel.anderle

“if you feel that you’re going bonkers, it is perhaps best to go and get some help; you can still write poetry or paint pictures or solve problems on the way.”
