My album “Sugar Moon” is out right now and you can listen to it in all the places that you listen to things: the park, your bed, a big long walk, or a plane (highlyrecommend).

I have been carrying these songs around with me for a while now, (some I’ve been playing at shows since high school) so it feels sort of unbelievable and long overdo to put them out in this way.

Making this record was so exciting and terrifying and difficult and I am really awfully proud of it. I love songs so bad and I feel lucky to get to make and play and share them.

But! There are many people to thank &so many people who made this possible! Where to begin!!

My uncle Doug who housed me in his recording studio many intermittent weeks of my adolescence and for a big long while this summer, mixed and mastered most of this record @mcbrides.chi @gravitystudios
& the whole entire wonderful staff at Gravity who helped me in ways big and small, but especially @ramseyvalentyn , @dannypatt_ @cpu1400 @omfg_astrid
& @themikeviola for recording “The Garrison” and “Supine” with me at his studio Barebones in L.A.. Such fun.
& @violasbloom and her wonderful eye for taking the photos on the cover and and @lena.halleysegal for helping me collage&craft.
AND all the incredible folks in my life who inspire me endlessly with their beautiful brains&art and make me brave enough to share mine.
