There has been so much happening lately that my posts truly don’t reflect the full extension of how I feel inside. If I may be candid, it’s overwhelming.

A part of me feels like I’m disassociating so that I can process, while a different part of me feels I’m choosing peace so I can act with wisdom.

Someone recently told me that evil must be dealt accordingly and I disagree.

The extent of what is happening is enormous. But I do not feel chaos, I feel in peaceful control.

Maybe because as time goes by we realize that truly nothing buys peace. Peace is earned, it’s not about the actions of others, it’s about the fortitude within ourselves.

It’s a privilege to lay our head on the pillow at night, and know that our actions have not been hurtful, that we chose to bring joy and happiness to those around us, that our soul feels light and our heart feels love. by @gabrielarosalestv

When you talk about beautiful souls, genuine, happy, intelligent and all around amazing human being, she is the first person that comes to mind! ✨ I did not have the fortune of having a good sister but God gave me an extraordinary cousin that has been more than a sister to me, whom I look up to and love with all of my heart 💖

Mi Patty bella 💞 Have an extraordinary birthday! You deserve the very best 💝
Thank you for always being there for me!

Love YOU @prdevane 💖 @jd420hots

• 20 years ago, I thought success was a destination. Today, I know it’s just the collection of stories, mistakes, and resilience along the way.
• Two decades of building, pivoting, and learning. If I could tell the person who started this journey one thing, it would be: trust the process, the risks are entirely worth it. by @gabrielarosalestv

Late post but wanted to share the info & spirit of the fair! The Kern County Fair officially began on August 5, 1916. It has grown from a small community tent gathering into a major 12-day annual celebration.

Key Historical Milestones

• 1916 (Official Origins): The first official Kern County Agricultural Fair opened on August 5, 1916, along North Chester Avenue (where the Kern County Museum stands today), initially operating out of tents.

• 1925 (Expansion & Attractions): The fair drew 65,000 attendees, featuring aviation stunts, motorcycle races, a 15-mile sweepstakes horse race, and the first youth livestock auction.

• 1930 (Oil & Community Exhibits): Featured the fair’s first oil and mineral exhibits alongside extensive community and school displays.

• 1930s (Depression-Era Pause): The fair was suspended for two years during the Great Depression.

• 1952 (Relocation): The fairgrounds moved from Chester Avenue to its current 160-acre site. It debuted as a 5-day event that same year.
• 1983 – Present (Duration Growth): The event gradually expanded over the decades—from 5 days in 1952 to 7 days (1956), 9 days (1967), 10 days (1977), 11 days (1979), and finally 12 days starting in 1983 by @gabrielarosalestv
