This Latine heritage month, let’s remember that Indigenous people are being erased by the broader Latinx identity, which centers a latinidad assimilated into whiteness

This partially reflects that many people within the Latinx multiethnic umbrella have been disconnected from our Indigenous culture, history and lineages.

reconnection to what has been erased through colonialism is vital in the pursuit of liberation, and I hope that my visual documentation is another form of archiving that collective journey

I welcome you to my journey as a new narrative writer/filmmaker. My goal is to create stories of me and my communities.

I am sharing three work in progress projects for my birthday. Theese projects were produced as school assignment while at Los Angeles City College.

Dating In LA, 2024
Inspired by late night visits to eat some tacos, texts from situationships and the overall dating pool. Dialogue you would hear if you were spying on people handing out at the taco truck. We follow ‘The Homegirls, The Triad, and The Situationship’ during a night out in Los Angeles.

My photos will be on exhibit at the CalArts residency show Crafting Justice: Waging Art Upon Law @calarts.alumni

This is a photography exhibit in opposition to racial profiling as a means to target Latines, which greatly harms our food vendor community

I witnessed that street food vendors in Mexico are cultural workers who preserve accessible food systems and the notion that public space should be occupied freely

It’s my birth season and here’s what I think aquarius energy is calling for

Many media systems have misrepresented our communities and enabled the dystopia. It’s our calling to remember truth beyond colonial narratives.

Uncomfortable changes are needed for us to thrive again, which means managing risks together

There is so much to pour into that requires fuller body presence. Im working on embodying information and not just consuming it

Recent model book / test shoot portraits ♟️We wanted to emote a bold and empowered energy on the grounds of an alice in wonderland botanical garden so we did that!

Letting ur self be seen is a process — If I could say anything to my younger self who only thought about it, I’d say there’s a reason you’re drawn to magazines so much, one day you’ll be fully in your body and love urself too

Photography can be personal bc each photoshoot can be a space where you witness yourself and get comfortable with the energy of your own presence

I’m excited to push my own boundaries as a model and photographer so stay w mee as I grow 🌱!
