Nigeria has my heart y’all. First of manyy visits. God is Faithful to His Word if you know me you know this has been brewing in my spirit for years. Some trips are best captured in your heart than photos but here’s a few moments I will carry w me forever...

I joined @thesoakingroom academy like a year and a half ago while on a ministry sabbatical because I honestly just wanted to become a better follower of Christ, I wanted my worship in private to go deeper, stronger, & more accurate.
That decision I didn’t think much of in the moment ended up being one of the most transformative of my life. That will forever be the philosophy of my life pursue Jesus & everything will fall into alignment🔥

To my Mentor @mosesakoh Thank you Pastor!! I honor your pursuit of Jesus & purity of worship. You are a rarity in this generation. Thank you for welcoming me & all you have poured into my walk with God & journey in ministry.

One of the Hebrew meanings of the word “consecrate” is to “fill your hand”. Consecration is not only made of what we refrain from, but how much we have given ourselves to His work & purposes.

Your breakthrough is on the other side of making yourself visible, embracing your assignment whether people like it or not. The other side of saying “God I’ve gotten used to living in the outer courts, but I’m ready to pursue deeper relationship with you.”

Your destiny is on the other side of learning how to be alone with God, the other side of you embracing the weakness & showing up at His feet anyways.

Your healing is on the other side of being honest with God about whats wrong & waiting for Him to mend your heart
the other side of not running to entertainment & people to drown out the things in your heart that need serious tending to

God didn’t consider your comfort zone when He wrote your destiny. Sometimes the delay comes is Him teaching us to wait on Him, but many times He has just been waiting on us. by @gabrielaygl

Everything will eventually pass away don’t be successful on earth without being successful in heaven. Don’t confuse earth’s validation with heaven’s validation. Work hard, be excellent, but not without keeping His heart at the center. by @gabrielaygl

if you understand love to be validation you will be enamored by one who gives you validation

if you understand it to be toxicity (this happens when its all you have known) you will keep finding yourself with people who are unstable & immature

i can go on but when you understand love to be Jesus Christ…

love in context of a life partner will be understood to be one who is a blessing to your pursuit of Him & His Kingdom. One who mirrors the Character of Christ, who echoes what God has shown you concerning your life.

This understanding guards your heart from being deceived. Not just by people but by YOURSELF. When we haven’t fully aligned this part of our heart to Christ, we can easily deceive ourselves into thinking something is a “God-thing” meanwhile its excitement, impulse, or the lust of the eyes

Proverbs 19:8: “To acquire wisdom is to love oneself; people who cherish understanding will prosper.”

You also receive God’s love according to your understanding of what love is but thats another topic

Kenny’s obedience is such a great example of going with God instead of waiting for everything to make sense.The World Cup Faith, Family, & Football event was an amazing bridge between Colombian Culture & being the salt of the Earth. If you know me I love creative forms of evangelism & truthfully after giving my life Christ I really haven’t been in touch with my culture like that & this was such a beautiful reconnection.

I felt glory at the end 🏃🏽‍♀️😭 HE TOOK AWAYY MY SHAMEEE

NOTHING IN THE WORLD GAVE ME THIS JOY. He delivered me from pursuing the glory of man to living for His Glory alone. He showed up for me when no one else did. He delivered my heart & mind when darkness was overtaking it.

Never been perfect, but He has always been the Redeemer. That means the one who restores to righteousness, who saves, who transforms.

He desires to encounter you and restore you back to relationship with Him too. On your own it is most certaintly impossible. But He will be your righteousness and strength.

Lock in with God❤️

Hebrews 2:11 “For both He who sanctifies and those who are being sanctified are all of one, for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren.”
