Hopping on this trend because I’ve been wanting to make a mini logo archive for a while now. But while placing these logos together, I found myself feeling a little proud. A small backstory — I changed 5 careers before landing here. Before design, I worked in fine arts as a studio assistant for artists while also taking up a few commissions of my own. Even though I loved painting and was decent at it, creating art on deadlines slowly took the joy out of it for me. I knew I wanted to do something creative, but something that wouldn’t drain me under pressure. Then I found design. I genuinely never expected to fall in love with it the way I did, especially branding and packaging. There’s so much room for storytelling and creativity. And as an overthinker, I somehow found a career where I could finally put that overthinking to good use. I still have a long way to go, but honestly, that’s the exciting part. P.S. A logo is not a pretty font. It’s a decision. Someone recently told me that a logo is just a pretty font, and that sparked this post. Of course, the font needs to be good. Meet Roohani ✦ This one was all about creating a vibe that felt modern and simple, while still taking inspiration from Indian and Arabian aesthetics. The idea was to keep it subtle rather than going too traditional—bringing in those influences through the typography, arches, ornamental patterns and the rich, warm colour palette.
