Dementia has taught me so much about patience, love and cherishing every single moment. I think now is my opportunity to care for you in the way you cared for me for so many years. ❤️

There are good days, and there are difficult days, but no matter what kind of day it is, my beautiful Nan, I will be there beside you through it all. I promise to be patient, to try my very best to understand you, and to make sure you always feel loved, safe and cared for.

You gave me so much love, comfort and guidance throughout my life, and now it’s my turn to give some of that love back to you. I know I can’t make everything better, but I hope you always know that you’ll never have to face this alone.

I’ll be there for the smiles, the tears, the stories you remember and the ones you don’t. I’ll be there even on the days when things feel difficult — because you’re my Nan, and I love you more than words could ever explain. ❤️

I promise to care for all your needs… well, the majority of them anyway 🤣❤️

I love you endlessly, my beautiful Nan. Always have, always will. ❤️ by @gabrielle_lander
