Secret’s out! 💕 Last year, I had the opportunity to work on a wonderful project with @thesteamboxco and @thebibliotheque! Despite the art block and moments of doubt during the process, I made it through!

P.S Swipe for some earlier color variations 💫

Illustration and design by me!

Surprise! 👸🏼Twisted Games🏰 is finally here!

Many thanks to @thesteamboxco and @authoranahuang for bringing me back not only for the second book but also the rest of the series 😳🎉

I am immensely grateful for the Twisted series fan’s passionate support and excitement. I never expected such a huge positive response. Always appreciate the shoutout/tags and beautiful bookstagram pictures. 💛

Lastly, this couldn’t have happened without my personal and very non-licensed but self appointed agent @xdorielys who gave the greatest suggestion and quite literally saved the cover.

I am so fortunate to have created the cover for @steamylit ‘s special edition of Twisted Love by @authoranahuang

Illustrated, lettered, and designed a cover—which means I [technically] accomplished a 2021 career goal!

This wouldn't have been possible without a couple of people so 🥁 drumroll 🥁—my many, many, many thanks to

✨ Mel @thesteamboxco / @steamylit and @authoranahuang for taking a chance on me and our wonderful collaboration
✨ @brittanyfears for recommending me 🙏🏼
✨ @xdorielys for being my unofficial agent on all those late nights reviewing my sketches, cheering me on, and yelling at me when I let my emails marinate too long

Available on www.steamylit.com 📚💕

Happy Spooky Autumnal Season!? 🍂 Although, to be honest I am enjoying the warmth again after a chilly week.

However, to kick off October Pumpkins on the Porch recently launched which I got to illustrate soooo many pumpkins 🎃

Also, super in love with the gourdgeous (😉) photos.

Originally, this appeared on the cover for my “Made in Hong Kong” catalog? book? zine? which I recorded what and where I ate from my trip earlier this year. With the recent tragedy in Hong Kong, both projects hold so much more meaning to me now. Through the course of this particular one, I realized that repurposing my work isn’t a bad thing but a natural way to make more art :)

ADD OIL, ADD OIL, ADD OIL ⛽️

As always, my projects start and stop more times than I can count, but I guess that's part of the process. Originally a test for a bigger piece, this wooden ornament had been sitting in my storage for awhile. I also had the desire to start painting again.

Through painting and struggling on this very small surface area, I learned a lot like when to pivot to other materials because the details were too small for a paint brush or how a textured canvas wasn't the smartest idea, or that the checker background should have been nixed in the beginning. I hope to transfer this to the bigger piece as previously planned, but...🤠 by @gabriellechang
