Happy Earth Day 🌎 friends!!! thrilled to announce our lineup for You Can’t Eat Money: Dreaming Beyond Climate Resilience 🌿

please come celebrate this planet and the young artists in our community this Thursday, April 27th at the Carver Library Branch from 6-8pm. The event is free and open to the public! Snacks and refreshments will be available, plus some fun giveaways! 🎉 🎉🎉

Tickets not required to attend, but are available at the link in my bio!

Was so grateful to be able to be a part of the @hiveartscollective closing event! The experience has meant more than I can put into words, but all I can say is I am overjoyed, exhausted, and so inspired by the other artists who participated in Well Wishes and all their work! Was really an honor to have my piece: you don’t have to go to the river to meet the river/remember our intimacy side by side with the beautiful installations from @geneva_jean_ @lydiagarciastudio & @dearestdrawings

Here are some poems compiled from the wishes shared by participants at the event. Visitors to the piece were asked to share wishes on behalf of the Colorado river, which is the river that flows through the center of Austin, and is the source of our drinking water + reason why this city is here, for better or worse.

An instagram caption is not the space for all of the things to say – so I’ll pause on: please follow and support @poder.austin , and the movement to Stop Enbridge @indigenous_peoples_361 —and all other folks working to protect land and water.
