The comeback is bigger than the setback “Sometimes you have to look back to see how far you’ve come” ⏪ 2018 A few months down the line and business is booming, But as a brand you always want more and without any first hand experience between us in marketing a product we were struggling for ways to get someone influential in the tees to take us to that next level of followers on social media. We brainstormed the last 3 photos handing out tees to local bands and created ‘out there’ photos to catch the eye. We went to Ibiza that summer with some spare tees in our suitcase hoping we might bump into someone ‘famous’ in order to help with this. We were in STK having a meal and all of a sudden @csbnines and @csbskrapz walk in with a huge firm behind them. We quickly went over asking for photos as we were huge fans. We got speaking to Nines outside told him about the brand etc; he was loving it. He went in to get his phone to follow the brand… we waited 20 mins outside he then come out with a massive group and we left him to it; just happy we got a photo with them both. The following day we were in Ocean Beach VIP, Nines, Skrapz and the firm walked in again. This was our chance. We went over with a Tyson tee - he remembered us from the night before and he gladly held the tee up for a photo. The rest is history. That photo took us from 2k followers to 10k+ followers within the next week. The comeback is bigger than the setback. “Sometimes you have to look back to see how far you’ve come” *For the purpose of this post our parents will be referred to as Mcl and Mcg* ⏪ 2018 Fast forward a couple of months. We had now outgrown mcg’s family kitchen and dining room. We decided to split the garage at Mcl’s family home into 2 rooms so that we could use the back room as an office. Many tips runs, a lick of paint + some artistic work, using a hand carved stencil we spray painted our brands logo to the wall. We took the boards of the back wall to be refurbed and used as ‘desks’ and we now had our very first space to work from to build GACHA.
